Two weeks ago, my wife and I got out for a date night and decided to come here. Thank Goodness we did. From the minute we walked in, we were treated like family. The hostess seated us at our reserved table. The ambiance and decor are top notch. There was a DJ playing good music - loud enough to catch a vibe and low enough to still have a conversation at dinner. Our waitress Cindy was absolutely amazing. She made great recommendations and always ensured we were checked on. For appetizers, my wife ordered the rolled tacos and I had the Chicharrónes with guacamole. I've never had Chicharrónes with guacamole - enjoy both separately - but they paired very nicely together. The Owner, Renee, stopped by the table to check in on us. He is very polite and asked how we were doing. We told him that we were out on a date night and this was our first time there. He welcomed us and offered to buy us a dessert. Very unexpected but it goes to show you how this place operates - like FAMILY. To drink, my wife had the Mama Coco and I had the House Vodka Mule. Both of us enjoyed our drinks - great flavor and you could taste the alcohol. After we finished our apps, we ordered our dinner. I ordered the Fajitas de la Casa (Shrimp, Steak and Chicken) and my wife ordered the Shrimp Enchiladas. My food arrived first - Renee came back to tell us how they prefer to bring the food out once it's ready so it's not sitting out getting cold. The fajitas came out sizzling on the skillet, so I backed away so it wouldn't splatter on me. The manager came by to ask if everything was ok so I explained why I backed away - not a big deal at all. He asked how we were doing on our drinks and we said well and offered to bring us another round on the house - No objections - FAMILY! A few minutes later my wife's food came out. Both of our entrees were delicious. We couldn't finish our entrees, so we got to-go boxes. Next came the dessert. We decided on the Churro Donas. Simply Amazing. Three stacked churro donuts with a scoop of vanilla ice cream between each donut with fresh fruit and mint on the side. The dessert topped off an amazing dinner!!! If I could rank the hospitality, drinks, dinner, dessert, and apps - they would all equally be number 1. You should definitely try out this restaurant. You will NOT be disappointed!!!

The low stars was because of the Halloween spookeasy event run by them . This was the first time ever attending LTC . Went yesterday night for the 75MNS Event. and we reserved the 7:30PM schedule . They brought us in at 7:40PM outside sign said we had 25mns to order food and then that’s it .That was understandable , Since they brought us I0mns late we had only 15mns to order food according to the waitress . I said isn’t it 25!? She said no 15! I didn’t argue it. We quickly ordered . They didn’t even have Halloween music going on the whole 75mns there . I only was able to see Scream for the first walk around , then Michael and IT . We still had a lot of alcohol in our cups after our second round and the waitress told us we had to leave quick because the second round of reservations were coming and it was 8:49PM (69MNS )!! and couldn’t even take them to the Catrina’s side . $43 we paid for entrance that came with a small cup of vodka with sprite. Food menu was a small portion of choices like ( 5-6 things all appetizers spent additionally $78 on our check . I wouldn’t do it again 👎🏻👎🏻 Only Worth it if you’re already coming in with Alcohol in your system , and a full belly !

It was the second time we've visited this establishment during lunch time. The atmosphere is going for that vibrant El Chingón vibe--with matching downtown prices as well. Happy hour is the time to go! The server took a little while to get to us but there was a very large party in the main dining area plus several other tables so we waited patiently in the comfy booth. The server was also making our cocktails (Ginger Pineapple Margaritas, yum!) I tried the Mexican candy cocktail later and it was too sweet for me--not their fault. So far we have tried the sopes, poblano chicken and guacamole (fresh and vibrant). The pictures feat. the ahi tuna tostada plate (perfect once you add green salsa), surf'n'turf (hot and satisfying), and salmon with lime rice and veggies (eh). The rice was not perfect and there could have been way more seasoning on all dishes overall so just make sure you request their house salsas because they will not bring them out automatically! The server told me they will be hosting fun dance party events in a back room very soon so look out for that!

I paid a visit to this restaurant for the first time. My husband had a craving for tacos and we just so happened to be in the area. Upon arriving there wasn’t very many people probably 3-4 tables already sat before us. We stood by the door waiting to be seated for at least 2-3 minutes. The place was not very busy at all. The waitresses and hostess were talking, I know they could see us but did not come over. After a while they came and sat us it took 10 minutes for a waitress to come. She apologized for the wait very very briefly despite talking the whole time at the bar. Her exact words were “sorry for the wait are you ready to order or do you need more time” she didn’t even say her name or ask for drinks first. I’ve never had that kind of experience and was very upset that she didn’t at least try to sound apologetic. It really sounded like we were an inconvenience. She didn’t even smile. At this point we both were ready and placed our orders the food was out in a timely manner so no complaints there, but the waitress did not carry the food out but came as soon as it hit the table literally we didn’t even get to bite before she asked is everything ok. She was standing talking at the bar so I felt like she did it on purpose I know she saw the food had JUST hit the table. We said it looks fine as I went to ask for a refill she walked away just like that. My husband is a huge foody and lovesss tacos but he took one bite and clearly was no impressed, my food was very decent not the best but could be a-lot worse. We also took a desert to go and it was on the wrong side of the container!!! It leaked through the bag onto the car and it was chocolate!! We had to spend an hour cleaning the seat; I have to get the seat detailed cleaned to get the stain and stick out. Just overall the experience was really heartbreaking. We were also our waitresses ONLY table. It was not busy at all inside!! I was excited to try this restraint I had walked past it many times but left wanting to NEVER come back. The vibe was off and I felt like I wasn’t treated like a paying customer. I don’t even want an apology I want management to do better with their staff! I’ve managed every job I’ve ever had and have been working in the food industry for some time. If this was my employee I would be embarrassed that they were even under my staff. It was unprofessional but the chocolate melting was the icing on the cake. I would of just taken the L and moved on and not recommend the place to anyone but my seat is too far I had to...

I don't know where to start. First, the menu is deceiving, because the menu that I saw listed drinks prices, but only for HAPPY HOUR. So the $6 Pineapple Ginger drink that I saw on the menu was really almost $12.95 ($13). Second, I ordered one of my favorite Mexican dishes (I love just about anything with chile verde and chicharrones)...theirs is a $12.95 chile verde burrito, it was ok and on the small side--I would not order again. Some of the pieces of the chicharrones tasted "off". I guess there was a brunch menu---but as far as I know we were not told about it or shown that menu. They do not serve chips or nachos (not complimentary nor as as an entre unless it's "happy hour). Third, not only did they add an extra drink to my bill, they took it upon themselves to add a 20% tip. There were initially four of us that met up, and one of our group individual's family happen to run into them and so they joined us. We clearly stated our bills were separate. Yet, the bill came and it appeared to be one total. They ended up separating the bill in the end. Fourth, would you believe that I paid my bill and they took it upon themselves to round off my bill in their favor and not return my coin change--perplexing to me as I've never had that happen to me anywhere. Our growing group (we are a group that is reuniting college professor and students) plans on reuniting every 2-3 months. Do we plan on returning? Based on the consensus, unfortunately that would be a resounding, "No". I gave two stars for aesthetics/food presentation and for...
