Rally's — Restaurant in Chula Vista

Customer service needs improvement big time with the girls working up front tonight. I went through the drive thru because I thought I could use my form of payment thru there. I was regrettably wrong, the young woman told me I would need to get out; walk up to window and pay. (I had back surgery recently, so I’m still working on the walking and standing part.) she directed me to one window then she directed me to another window. At that point I stopped and asked the girl which window because I did t come there to play little games. I was charged and I waited the eight minutes they told me it would take to get my food. I watched them load my fries into a box and the box into a bag , take it in the back then bring it back take out of the bag and put in another bag with the burgers I ordered. At that point I felt something was tampered with. Once my husband and I got home, oh my goodness I couldn’t believe when I started to eat my loaded fries. They had so much salt on them that I could’nt even take more than three bites, I felt my heart pumping out of my chest. This was by far the worst fast food experience. I will never go to a Rally’s again. Measures should be taken with those young women, you don’t do that to people or their food. I hope I don’t get sick! Stay away from 3rd Ave Rally’s especially if you have high blood pressure! They got 1 star because that’s the lowest, but they don’t even...

I will summarize the review as such, I was uncomfortable being at this location. This is important, because if customers are not comfortable visiting your business, they will never come back.

First off, atmosphere. The pictures on Google Maps look NOTHING like the actual location. It looks much worse in person, you can see in the photos I attached. There were a couple homeless people just hanging around the place. The food was ok. The staff inside was odd. They had face wraps covering their face below the eyes. I'm not sure if it was because of sanitation standards or covid standards? It was a very strange vibe. I won't be coming back since pictures on Google Maps falsely advertise the atmosphere, and the staff is sketchy inside. The food was only good enough to not complain about. There was a lot of angry patrons outside the service window. I could hear them complaining about something as I drove by after exiting the drive thru. I decided not to stay and find out.

EDIT: To Rally's, thank you for the generic corporate response that does not address any of the issues. You don't answer any concerns and by doing so, make the business look even more questionable than it did. A serious turn...

This is my favorite fast food restaurant but the rudeness of the young girls working here is awful!! One time I was with a friend and we both had a coupon to use and I wad told very rudely only one per visit.. so I called the other location in imperial beach and I was told that's not true .. then today I asked for my drink with no ice ( restaurants are notorious for having mold growing in the machines so I avoid ice unless I trust the establishment) anyway I said politely to her I'm sorry but I requested no ice so she rolled her eyes slammed the drink down dumped and refilled it and handed it to back to me! I realize it's not a fine dining restaurant but common courtesy isn't reserved for the elite only and sadly they weren't busy..I have tried to forgive this same arrogant snooty attitudes everytime, over and over again because (for being fast food) they're my favorite but forget...
