Taco Bell - Live Más Café — Restaurant in Chula Vista

So I just moved to Toto Ranch and this was the closest Taco Bell to where I moved and for some reason I really want to Taco Bell. So thought I'd be quicker if I ordered it online and then just went and picked it up through the drive-thru. Well I was wrong, but that's okay. Apparently the inside of Taco Bell was completely closed and had been closed down for a few days or so and they had just reopened for the drive-thru only. So when I got there to pick up my pre-ordered meal that I thought I was going to just drive through and get it took a while to get through the long line as that was the only way to order food was through the drive-thru. The lady in front of me was yelling at the guy through the drive-thru box he she was really upset that the line was so long and the inside wasn't open like he had control over it. I was impressed at how calm he stayed, trying to explain to her that they just reopened the drive-thru that night and had been closed down for a few days. She was still upset. Anyway, So I ordered online, The problem with ordering online was that it only gave me four drink options from the soda fountain. They have the frozen drinks available at the store, but they didn't give me the option online to purchase one. I tried to order one separate from my cantina chicken meal and it said that they weren't available at this store, yet when I got there, they were. I ordered the cantina chicken crispy taco meal which came with a cantina chicken crispy taco, I took off the creamy jalapeno sauce, a cantina chicken soft taco, I took off the pico de gallo, nacho chips and nacho cheese, and a drink I got Pepsi. I also got a cheesy bean and rice burrito minus the jalapeno cheese and a two pack of cinnabon delights. I'm not exactly sure what makes the cantina chicken cantina chicken I guess the spices they cook their chicken with. It didn't really taste much different than their regular chicken soft taco I've never had a chicken crispy taco there, but their chicken didn't taste different to me, I also don't eat there that often, so I could just not know. However my cantina chicken crispy taco had very little chicken on it and it was all on one side so like half of it was nothing but cheese. The cantina chicken soft taco, was good It just tasted like the regular chicken soft taco. The cheesy bean and rice burrito was good and the cinnabon delights were warm and creamy and delicious. I will go here again, but probably won't be ordering the cantina chicken anything, The service was great, the food was good, minus the missing chicken on the...

Food is as expected, service is horrible.

Write this as I sit in the drive thru for a second time for an online order placed 10 minutes prior. Waited 30 minutes the first time. Got to the speaker box and worker tells me to pull forward to the window without me saying anything. Pull up to the window and she tries charging me for the order of the car behind me ( whose order she did take ). I tell her I have an online order and provide a name.

She says there is no order under that name. I show her the order information and she says it’s not here. I double check the address show her and she says it’s not on her computer. She then tells me to park in front. I do and wait a the front door since its closed. No one acknowledges.

I get back in the drive thru and have been here for about 25 minutes about to ask for my order again. App shows order as complete.

After 1 hour ( total time here ) I pulled up to the box and was told to wait. I gave the order name again and was told to pull up to the window. Asked for a refund and was told they can’t do a refund that it needs to be done to be on the app.

Was told the system is slow. Could have at least acknowledged me when I was at the front door waiting.

Sometimes, when I'm in a hurry and I need to eat something more than snacks even though they might be healthy, or on some ocassions when I want to study late dinner and only there are some places open... I know that I can count with Taco Bell. I'm from a place that invented tacos, so I'm kind of picky with it, but I'll take a burrito. Nothing like a doble tortilla, tostada- tortilla, chalupa-tortilla...just a simple flower tortilla. I used to ask for the 7 Layer burrito (7 ingredients), which to me was the best item in their menu, but unfortunately TB discontinued it 🙁. Now I get the replacement, a similar version. Sometimes, when it's for the family, I'll take their craving deal, which it's pretty good, and not dropped dead expensive. I usually use the drive through and the staff is regularly nice. It was not the same at this particular TB. The girl had a kind of rude attitude, which it's never good for any kind of business.. it gives a bad impression and makes the client feel uncomfortable and questionable if it's worth it to go back. Hopefully, they'll choose personnel with better attitude 🙄🙂.

update: I haven't seen that girl, I hope she is happier now.. I still go once in awhile to...
