We had rolled tacos, carne asada burrito, California burrito and a hot cheeto burrito. We know that this place is GOOD because we would sometimes drive all the way to National City just to get food from that California's Taco Shop. And this place did not disappoint, not sure if they are the same owner but it's just as good. I had the california burrito and rolled tacos. I had not tried their rolled tacos not even at the other location but they are actually good, WAY better than the ones down the street by the dollar store. We also had an agua de jamaica and they actually make it its not from no machine that it's all syrup. I know the difference from home made and the machine one this one was home made delicious 😋. Super happy that they opened up here closer to my house. Oh and their breakfast torta is also super delicious my daughter is picky and even she likes it. I know many say oh its just a taco shop but not all taco shops have good tasty food. Lolitas is good but their salsas suck not even one is spicy, this place the salsas at least one could be spicy but at least this place has chiles toreados so that's a plus for people...
Read moreI stopped in for breakfast and had the "Crunchy San Andreas" breakfast burrito that came with scrambled eggs, bacon, crunchy fried tortilla strips, cheese, and a creamy chipotle sauce for $10.99 plus tax.
The burrito pretty good, but it lacked bacon and scrambled eggs, not to mention that they forgot to put the creamy chipotle sauce. Also, it would be a good idea to place the burrito on the hot griddle after it is rolled up to firm up the burrito and help melt all the cheese.
I liked that the corn tortillas strips were still crunchy in the burrito. I dis also like the quality of the flour tortilla. Let's fill that burrito a little more with those key ingredients that make it a great breakfast burrito.
The service was nice. The young lady at the counter was sweet and friendly. She gave me a little run down on the salsa bar, which was nice of her. Oh yes, they do make very good salsas. They offer inside and...
Read moreWent to this place and got the quesabirria, and my girlfriend got the surf and turf burrito. The food was good, but the following day, we tried to get the Hot Cheetos burrito and were put on hold for 10 minutes. I overheard the lady take another order and then proceed to have small talk with other staff. I waited 10 minutes, and the person just hung up when they remembered they were on the phone. I immediately called back and mentioned I had been on the phone with her, to which her response was, "Okay. So?" I was shocked. I proceeded to order, but after I hung up, the poor service killed my appetite. I would have called back to cancel, but her response made me just block this place's number. Okay food, but terrible service, so I will not be...
