Restaurant Review: Taco Machin, San DiegoHaving scoured San Diego for the past three months in search of exceptional taco joints, I can confidently assert that Taco Machin stands as one of the city's finest. This restaurant exudes an ambiance of longstanding tradition, which is further accentuated by the familial warmth radiated by its staff. It's a rare gem where the delightful aroma of authentic Mexican cuisine mingles with the nostalgic air of a well-established family business.

One of the most striking aspects of Taco Machin is its immaculate cleanliness. The establishment is maintained with meticulous care, ensuring a pleasant and hygienic dining experience. This attention to detail extends to the service; the staff is not only exceedingly friendly but also exudes a genuine passion for their craft, making patrons feel more like guests of a family gathering than customers.

The culinary offerings at Taco Machin are a testament to authentic Mexican cuisine. Each dish is a harmonious blend of traditional flavors and fresh ingredients. The menu also ventures into the exotic, featuring items like intestine and tongue, which are prepared with such skill that they're bound to intrigue even the most cautious diners. These adventurous options add a unique flair to the menu, showcasing the versatility and depth of Mexican culinary traditions.

In conclusion, Taco Machin is a must-visit for anyone seeking authentic, high-quality Mexican fare in San Diego. Its combination of a familial atmosphere, impeccable cleanliness, friendly service, and an adventurous yet authentic menu makes it a standout in the city's vibrant food scene. Whether you're a taco connoisseur or a curious foodie, Taco Machin promises a memorable and...

We ordered 6 tacos de tripa, one quesadilla de asada, and a adobada taco. The 6 tripa tacos where all overcooked and crunchy( to the point I can hear my wife from across the table). The adobada taco had meat burnt. And the quesadilla de asada was good cheese and meat. Good amount of guacamole on it. The tortilla was stiff like if it was old. It was double tortilla and does hold the meat and doesn't break. The place was nice and well kept clean. They gave us our food fast. The prices are pretty pricey for what it is. At $4 dollars a taco. The orchata was watered down, so it taste like water with milk. They took our order as soon as we got there. But nothing special stood out to me. Had high hopes due to...

My wife and I tried Tacos Machin on a chilly Wednesday evening just a few days before Christmas 2022. That evening we ordered a couple of Machin, adobada and carne asada tacos plus 2 cokes and got a seat at the only table available and it was good that we did because a lot of people came in after us. I can say that the tacos were very tasty, fresh and bigger than I expected. Our server was great and prices were more or less what you would expect at a similar type restaurant. The only minor negative is parking. Parking is limited at the small mall where Tacos Machin is located. We will be back when...

Firstly, I like the name, Taco Machin; it’s just fun to say. And with a name like that, you can’t help but think “they must make good tacos.” I liked the relaxed diner-ish vibe inside and the staff were friendly. We ordered their carne asada tacos and adobada tacos. The carne asada tasted good, but I thought some of the meat was a little hard and chewy; possibly overcooked. The adobada tacos on the other hand, were amazing. The meat was flavorful and all the components made for a perfect bite every time. For 10 tacos and tip, we paid $49.30.
