Best Buy Chinese Kitchen Latin Sushi — Restaurant in Cicero

What can you expect from a Chinese joint next to a car dealership and dentist that's has a strong musty odor (I'm talking grandma's house 2 weeks after you found the body musty) the second you walk in? Not much.

Right off the bat you notice the small tables and ripped apart chairs. Honestly they weren't even expecting customers as I came in, stood around for 5 minutes and they didn't even notice me. I finally get the cashier's attention and order the orange chicken combination plate. I wanted to pay with my card to get some rewards, but she said there's a $10 minimum (combo plate is $7.25). I swear the guy cooked the food in 5 minutes which scared the crap outta me. I almost came back to ask for a soda then I noticed that after 3pm the combination plate was .50 more and came with no soda...

The food itself was ok, they tried their best with the fried rice throwing in all the goodies, like onions, eggs, etc, but it just wasn't more the "meh". The orange chicken was a crispy sponge, with the orange sauce not really tasting like "oranges" and had this sickly looking powdery texture to it (do they even make powdered orange sauce mix?) All the vegetables, including the egg roll were swollen with water which made it seem like you were eating a wet napkin as water filled your mouth as soon as you bit in.

If I could rate 0 stars I would! Everything about this place is a disaster. I ordered sushi and they got my order wrong. I went back to the restaurant to tell them my order wasn’t right and the guy in front was trying to argue with me about it. I came in with a calm demeanor just trying to get the right order. There was no reason for this guy to be as rude and defensive as he was. As I was trying to explain what was wrong with my order, he just kept cutting me off and interrupting. Don't waste your money! I ordered a small shrimp with garlic sauce with steamed rice. I got more steamed rice and vegetables than shrimp. Way too many vegetables were served with only four shrimps! The garlic sauce didn't even taste like garlic sauce. I also ordered a small shrimp fried rice and got charged for a large (which wasn't it's best).
