Taqueria La Chiquita — Restaurant in Cicero

To go order we purchase 6 Gorditas 1 cheese and 5 cheese con Rajas it had great flavor, but extremely disappointed in the gordita. It’s so thin like skinny popcorn. It’s like they pasted two tortillas together at six dollars each. If a restaurant wants to skimp on ingredients such as masa and cheese for a Gordita. Please change the name, because it’s not a gordita anymore; instead it resembled a quesadilla.

Not good. I don’t get what the hype is about. The waitresses need bust boys. They are taking orders, bringing out food, answering the phones and clearing tables. And the coffee is horrible. I asked for a salad and it was just chopped up lettuce with some diced tomatoes and a couple slices of avocado. And when we asked for the coffee to be removed this lady that’s just standing by the register gave us a hard time and said “everyone drinks it”. That coffee is disgusting. Absolutely horrible service. Incredibly slow and with a vindictive server. Not only did the food take an hour, but other tables that came after got their food first. The server had already even started to put up the chairs in the tables around us despite it not even hitting 6pm (they close at 9pm). Implying that they wanted us out. The server didn’t even properly close the lids on the drinks (that the server didn’t bring out until 30-40 minutes after we put in our order) making the drink spill the moment my mom put a straw through the lid. We payed of course but at this point we just decided to leave to another restaurant. Will never be going here again. I’ll even translate this review.

Absolutamente horrendo. Muy despacios y la mesera era muy mala honda. Ademas de durar una hora, otra mesas que llegaron despues recibieron su comida primero. Hasta ya estaba subiendo las sillas en las mesas alrededor de nosotros la mesera aunque todavia no eran las 6pm (no cierran hasta las 9pm). Medio implicando que nos estaban corriendo. La mesera ni cerro los vasos bien (la mesera no trajo los refrescos hasta 30-40 minutes despues que ya ordenamos) haciendo que se tirara el momento en que se uso el popote.
