Domino's Pizza — Restaurant in Cicero

We usually order from dominos for our pizza nights but tonight we had the worst service EVER! I ordered online which we always do and if the time would be longer the website would let us know. Place my order at 6:15pm and finally called at 7:15pm and they said they were just now putting my pizzas in and they were short staffed. They said it would take another 20-30min fir it to be delivered. Well another hour goes by so I called again and they told me it would be another 15-20 minutes! I was supposed to leave my house by then and now I am having to be late and cook. The person on the phone was not helping nor cared that we had waited that long so I asked for my money to be returned on the card. Then I called back to speak to the manager (which I do not like doing EVER) and they gentleman on the phone who I had been talking to WAS the manager. The Cicero dominos have lost our business we will be going to bronko, pizza king or pizza by the harbor from now on.

1/21/22 *update to this review. Domino's had replied to my review telling me to email them. I did email them and it has been a week and they have not replied back since so it just looks like they are trying to save face and not actually...

Ordered 7 medium pizzas and bread bites for take out, was told I need to ORDER AHEAD on a FRIDAY for 7 medium cheese, 1 topping, and 2 topping pizzas. They canceled my order and didn’t even call the number. When I showed up expecting my pizzas, because it said it was ready on the app. I was met with hostility from the short young woman with quite the attitude and stink eye. I used to work at this location, always has been poor ownership and full of lazy people. Some things never change it seems. The guy at the front counter was trying to make excuses about proofing dough, but come on.. you don’t have enough dough to make 7 medium pizzas on a Friday? It sounds like they just didn’t want to make them. I would’ve been happier if they would’ve just told me that straight up. I was prepared to feed a lot of hungry people. And Dominos royally dropped the ball. I will not be returning here, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone in our town. Sad to see, but it hasn’t...

Tonight was a new experience. I was handed my order at the counter, I paid for the food, and walked out. After examining the food and seeing that my order was short,I went back to ask about the error. The worker was short, condescending and obviously not interested in the issue. I must admit that this was the worst experience that I have ever had with Domino's. The pizza was very cold, the exact texture of cardboard. So dry that I thought about taking it all back. You know, it's really sad to have to acknowledge that the workers simply don't care. I didn't want to chance getting into a larger issue with the staff after the earlier confrontation. Just not worth it. In closing, the Mac n cheese was burnt and disgusting. It's weird to see such terrible service with absolutely no concern at all from the employee.
