Hurry Curry — Restaurant in Cincinnati

I came here to grab a quick dinner one evening. It's a carryout window, not a place to sit and dine. I like the menu -- it's a creative intersection between Indian and Thai street food. Those are the two best cuisines imho, but you rarely find a place that mixes them. I went with a bento box w/ red curry, green curry, and Moroccan stew. All three had very good flavors, and the green curry had thr perfect amount of spice without overpowering the dish -- it was my favorite of the three. Unfortunately, the curries were a little watery. I would have liked a thicker, richer texture, as is typical with Indian and Thai curries. The chicken in the Moroccan stew was also pretty dry. The grilled naan was excellent and a perfect pairing for everything else. Overall, it was a pretty enjoyable meal, but it missed the mark on some of the basics that otherwise could have made it a great meal. It was ready in ~5 minutes after I ordered, but you could also order ahead online. The portion was large, so you get your money's worth. If there were medals for food (idk maybe there are and I just am un-informed), hurry curry wins gold. I have now tried 4 different flavored dishes from this establishment, and each of them make me want to sob tears of joy. This curry makes me feel things. Idk what it is, I feel like I'm eating a hug from my deceased father or something. It pleases the pallette and warms the soul. The booth gives tiny house eclectic vibes. The staff is super genuine. Seem like the kind of folks you would want as your next door neighbor. I like everything about this place, and trying new curries is something I now look forward to every weekend! Absolutely must try. For starters, the owner is one of the most friendly people you'll ever meet. The sampler tray he gave us was so helpful because it let us try all of the options on the menu, and then decide what we wanted this time. The three curry options were all so flavorful, and had a progressively perfect amount of heat that even my wife, who thinks black pepper is spicy, was loving every bite. She got a bowl and I chose the bento box, which were both great portions that left us filled with some leftovers. We got the Moroccan soup which was this week's special and it was delectable. I can't wait to try the other specials he rotates in. And the naan is a necessary addition to any meal, with the naan grilled cheese being an even better addition.
