No breakfast at 1 PM is pretty lame. 60% of the menu is immediately gone even in the early afternoon.
I got a cheeseburger and fries. The burger looked quite nice but the taste was only OK/fine. The cheese was melted nicely. The fries were a bit odd with a sour cheese sprinkled on them, didn't love them but they were OK. Hardly remarkable. I have a soft spot for those kinds of fries so that's a small disappointment personally.
Service was adequate and definitely quick enough. No one else was there though - makes sense since they stop making half the menu super early. Still, they were kind and not rude. Refills were taken care of promptly.
Pricing kinda sucks. If you look at pics, it seems justified actually, but that's clearly the point. The taste betrays the presentation IMO.
The average food truck has much tastier food than this. If you have a choice and don't care about the seating environment, that's the better option. If you wanted a burger and Tickle Pickle is open, I would go there 99/100 times. I've only had it once, years ago, but I still remember how great it was. The small ratings difference of 0.2 at this time doesn't convey the quality difference.
If I had access to the breakfast menu perhaps I would be raving as some of their items look crazy nice, but again, expect to be there in the morning. No brunch here.
I'm no foodie but as a guy that likes burgers and fries I give it a 6-6.5 out of 10. Well presented but ultimately not my cup of tea. I guess it doesn't help that I intended to go to tickle pickle in the first place and this happened to be where the group went instead. I don't regret going but I...
Read moreCame in with three other people excited because we had heard good things. It was a special occassion and it was family in from out of town. Took over twenty five mins for the young woman to come speak with us. She was so softspoken we could scarcely hear her, and was not at all friendly. We received no greeting when we came in. We asked for ten mins to decide as she only then gave us menus at that time, and placed drink orders which we had been waiting to place. Strangely, she asked for the menus back, which was odd since we had only been given them and were needing to decide. We sat awkwardly for over another thirty mins for our drinks, and began ordering from the carry out menus we had to go get from the counter/bar ourselves. When she eventually came back for our order, three menu items were unavailable. We had a question that she went to get the answer to about a substitution, and she did not return. After waiting a very long time in a very uncomfortable dining room, we placed money fir the drinks on the table and left, embarrassed to have taken family there and at the experience. Everyone was starving, so we walked down to Tickle Pickle and got our alcohol and meals. No clue why this place got good reviews. Puzzled and there was an hour and a half of my life we will...
Read moreFirst time at this black owned establishment and I had the 4cheese Alfredo with grilled salmon, it was well seasoned with the penne pasta. I would have like my pc of salmon to be a little bigger for $25. However they give you a large amount of pasta. My daughter had the steak burger and fries. The burger was tasteful and the fries were seasoned fries, nice amount of food for $14. The hubby had lambchops, mac & cheese with a sautaed zucchini and mushrooms veggie dish. The meal came with 3 lambchops, that could have been a little bigger for $35 BUT, everything was seasoned well and taste good. Peach cobbler pound cake was small, but taste ok. Customer services was friendly. I did explain this was our first time. With that being said I would have like for our server to check on us more, see how things were going she only came over once. We had to go to the front counter to get our bills, and refills because she never came back🤔. Overall the menu choices were a great variety, and I will definitely come back to check out breakfast, lunch and other dinner items. On the street parking. The place is not real big so big groups may not be able to sit together. I look forward to...
