Amazing menus and foods to choose from. The atmosphere was super! Faire, and the waiter was a she, though she WAS creepily smiling while talking to me (her smile was literally in the same height as her ears like the joker-). Her benign way to talk got me past her creepy smile, after she taked my food (which is carbonara, milk and pizza) she walked to the kitchen like a model. I waited for 20 minutes and are just looking at the customers and they seem to be in a good-bad state of mind? I don't really know as im just always seeing their eyes on the back of their head and tongue out while sweating uncontrollably I was about to ask whats going on but then the waiter finally came with my food, though whats weird is that she said "here you go sir, me and the boys worked REALLY hard to make this" while smiling uncontrollably. I knew it was weird though I just didnt care and wanted to eat my food but before I can do that she suddenly dropped down below my table and I started to feel this suction force so high and I also felt something sprang up in my body, I could feel something tickling me that lasted for 5 minutes and after- I could hear slurping and sloppy sounds just like someone licking and sucking a popsicle, I was put in a euphoric-like state before suddenly the thing that sprang up in me stopped and became really sloppy again and the waiter standed up and just thanked me and said that payment has already been done. Which is really weird, uhm anyways thats the weirdest thing of them all and the foods and drinks were impeccable though the milk was REALLY thick and was bitter and smells, the cheese on the pizza was extremely Gooey! Just the way I wanted it though it did smell with the milk and was a bit bitter, the carbonara was extremely good! Though like the other two, the cream was REALLY gooey, even more gooey than the pizza and it produced a smell a strange one though I eventually ate them all and got back to my house safely, this restaurant...
Read moreOverall, a nice place. Food is tasty.
Was in town briefly, and stopped by for lunch the other day. Had the Bread Zepplin burger, fries and a coke - Pretty standard for me at a place like this... And definitely a very healthy serving size, in terms of amount of food served.
My only complaint was the burger itself. While the burger tasted great, the meat did not hold together. Like at all. What I thought I was eating was a full burger. What I ended up discovering was that the burger meat divided itself into about 7 different hunks of meat, falling right out of the burger bun. Almost like it sensed it’s impending doom of being eaten, and the burger decided, “Every meat morsel for themselves - Abandon bun - Abandon bun!!”
So what started out as eating a nice looking burger, quickly turned into eating a deconstructed burger - And no utensils in sight.
The thing that saved this review from being a 3-star review was the service. Granted, it’s not like people are waiting on you and stopping by your table every so often to check on you (this is an “order at the counter” establishment), but the staff was very nice and polite. I even overheard either the manager, or owner, making an order right for another customer after what seemed like a larger-than-usual order SNAFU - Sounding like he was going out of his way to make sure the customer was happy. So kick-butt staff for the win here.
So, would I go back? Well, of course would, but honestly, I don’t find myself in this part of town too often, so chances are slim I’d make a return trip. But if I am ever back in town, I’ll stop by, and order another burger in the hopes that my first - and so far, only - burger self-deconstruction experience was an anomaly and...
Read moreAlmost irritatingly delicious. Happened to be in town for a workshop and was with about 6 other people in my group, another group of about 6 from the workshop, and something else was going on in the area that flooded the restaurant at dinnertime on Memorial Day when not much else was open. The staff were definitely overwhelmed with the influx of people, so I'm not sure what a normal day's service would be like. It wasn't great this particular day. It was somewhat confusing when I was ordering for a burger and shake to be packaged to go, and the person said they'd package the shake to go if they had time....?? There was also some confusion as to where you can sit and still get service. They said they had a "runner" but the back porch area wasn't theirs and was just open to the public. The rest of my part was served on the back patio, I guess by said "runner", but my food was skipped/ticket was lost or something. Maybe there was some mixup by me asking for it to be packed to go (I often just end up with leftovers, so I often ask for things to be packed to go in these situations). They ended up serving me my delicious Red Hot Chilli Pepper burger and the peanut butter Oreo shake when it was brought to their attention that I hadn't been served even though people that ordered after I did had gotten their food. And then I guess they found the extra burger and sent it with a member of my party after I had already left. I microwaved this burger the next day and it was still delicious. I normally cannot stand soggy bread for leftover burgers/sandwiches, but there was very little sog problem and, again, SO TASTY. Everybody in my group seemed to love the food. Definitely worth the...
