Terrible management and incompetent leadership. I'm sure nothing will come of this, seeing as how poor customer service seem to plague this Pizzeria, but I must share. I attempted to order two hoagies from the Northside NYPD Pizza and when I asked to have the lettuce, tomatoes, and sauce on the side I was told they could not accommodate that request unless I paid extra. At first I assumed there was some misunderstanding, as if I were asking for extra ingredients added to the hoagie. I even made sure to explain that due to the fact I'm walking I just would like the lettuce and sauce on the side—as no one enjoys wilted lettuce and a soggy bun. Again my request was met with a no, and I could not understand why. I even tried to speak with the manager on duty ADAM explaining to him the quality and taste of the sandwich will be negativly influenced if the lettuce is wilted and bun is slimy and soggy. Adam not only refused to make this minor accommodation, he proceeded to tell me that he STILL has to charge because they have to place everything in a "to-go" container. Even then I tried to find a solution suggesting they just place it on some parchment paper or something similar, as I don't need the containers. Well as you can see that did not happen and sensing my surprise and frustration Adam just walked away refusing service and not offering any solution. I left disappointed, frustrated, and even sad that a neighborhood restaurant, one which I've given so much business, refused to see an opportunity to satisfy a guest and maintain a loyal happy customer. I hate to think there was some other reason for my awful experience, so I'll just chalk it up to bad customer service, incompetent management and poor leadership. As prices continue to rise you would think this business would appreciate there return guest. Read moreGrowing up in Northside nypd was something we ordered often and never had an issue with service until today….i’m not sure of the manager I spoke to when o called about the concern of my order but his sarcasm and lack of professionalism is what will stop me from returning I had questions about the zesty garlic crust upgrade that I paid for on my pizza and asked how a customer is to know the difference visually between a traditional crust and the zesty garlic one and the manager on duty responded saying I know the difference because I watched them make it as a consumer that first off was a highly rude response and secondly you’re not the one eating the pizza and for me to have to pay an additional charge for zesty garlic crust it would be nice to know that there is a difference in the way it looks versus the way a traditional pizza does (ex. More buttery crust some type of seasoning something showing that this is an upgraded crust) and there was no additional flavor difference or extra garlic taste to the pizza at all since he claims it’s something that’s sprayed on before cooking and I can say for the inconvenience of my experience and lack of concern by management I will not be returning since customer service isn’t high on the management’s...
Read moreI order from NYPD all the time. At friends house, mom's house and all. Northside location has went down. My hoogie bun was doughy. Pizzas under cooked. And its no reason to call n complain cause they tell you, you have to come in and bring the food back. I don't drive. Plus why do I have to bring back horrible food they delivered. The young lady that answer the phone is always rude. Their always missing extra sauces. The only good thing i can say is that the delivery guy forgot our pop and he kindly went to corner store and bought us two pops when we ordered 1. Ive place orders online and called right after placing it and wanted to add something to order the young lady lied and said he already left with the order. He didnt came untill 30 mins later. I live 10 mins away from the store. She has even done this when asking for extra toppings on pizza saying its already in the oven. Just seems lazy. Poor staff and customer service. Sadly their like the only plce that delivers to me, besides haply pizza. Both or horrible at customer service and that just makes the food bad cause no time or quality put...
