Coolest place with superb staff! Took my chocolate lab, and we are both life time fans after the first visit! I went on a day that was busy with lots of kids also enjoying the sweet treat. After I placed my order, several children came over to pet my dog. (No problem, she is super friendly) However, while entertaining the kids with my dog- I didn’t hear them call my order. I sat around for maybe another 15-20 minutes watching people come and order and go and I was wondering why I had not been called. Did they drop my order at a busy time? I walked back up to the window to inquire, and they said they did call but I didn’t come. I said “oh no! I’m sorry- I didn’t hear!” They were all to happy to make another pup cup and cone. Even gave me an addition coupon for a free future cone! They just went above and beyond to resolve a situation that really wasn’t a problem, just a mistake on my behalf. Quality people running a quality business. (Delicious too!) million stars and I will be back. Also my sons have become obsessed with the Mystery...
Read moreI used to live close to Putz's Creamy Whip and loved their ice cream. Now I live in East Price Hill near The Bold Face Dairy Bar. Friends told me their soft serve ice cream is as good as Putz's (considered the best soft serve in Cincinnati), so I had to try it. My friends were correct. I tried their vanilla ice cream for the first time today, and I was pleasantly surprised by how good and creamy it is, so very similar to the Cincinnati favorite Putz's. The difference between the two is that Putz's offers vanilla and chocolate flavors, while The Bold Face Dairy Bar offers a variety of flavors. Alas, I'm still a fan of vanilla, although the next time I go, I might order the mint chocolate chip. It seems to me the Incline District offers a great day/night out. You can have coffee at BLOC, have a meal at Primavista, Incline Public House, Veracruz Mexican Grill, or Soma Wine Bar. And you can have dessert at Bold Face Dairy Bar. There's also a theater on the Incline. It's a lovely day and evening out with an incredible view of...
Read moreTo be honest, we were pretty let down after reading all the reviews hyping this place up. We dont live close to Bold Face and it was on the opposite side of town, but after reading all the reviews, we decided to try it out. My Dad got the chocolate soft serve dipped in chocolate, my mom got pistachio dipped in chocolatw, and I decided to something new and get blueberry dipped in blue raspberry. The only person out of the 3 of us to enjoy her icecream was my mom, who loved the pistachio. We all agreed the dip was not great, my blue raspberry dip was inedible and I ended up picking off the dip as it tasted like flavorless candle wax. My Dad and I both agreed the soft serve lack flavor. The price for all 3 soft serves came to $16.50 too, which seems a pricey compared to some of the other soft serve places weve been to...
