Well… it was nice having a chipotle in Circleville while it lasted. Never again. Go in, theres a sign that says “we may be out of some things, we appreciate your patience.” I get it.. i order bowl double chicken white rice and a barbacoa burrito. No burrito wraps, no white rice, no barbacoa. Alright… so two bowls. Next, their out of sour cream, and i almost said forget it and left, but i got sc at the house so ill roll with it. I pay, look over at the online order station, sour cream, asked nicely hey can i get some sour cream on my bowls, no those are for online orders only. Thinking she is joking, im like cool and i start to get them out and she stops me and says i cant have it, bout this time the manager comes up, im like i just need 2 scoops of sc basically so my 24 buck meal doesnt suck, she, on her way out the door basically rolls her eyes and left. So …. that place. Wouldnt it be nice that if your out of something in one spot be like hey let me check over here for you, you know to make the customer happy, nah, not in this...
Read moreAs I find is a common problem with most Chipotle’s is the cleanliness of their work/prep areas, especially the front line. I don’t think I’ve ever seen their tables cleaned with a food-safe sanitizer while they are open for business. It’s always just a worker grabbing some dry paper towels and wiping down the surface. Sometimes they don’t even change their gloves, but rarely do I see them washing their hands correctly (or at all) when they do put on new gloves. Chipotle as a company seems to do a poor job incorporating the ability to maintain a cleanly workspace. I know that almost all of them don’t have a dish washer. All dirty containers need to be hand washed and I can guarantee corners are cut in the washing process at the end of a long, busy night. Long story short, your stomach discomfort that you sometimes get from Chipotle is probably because your food has a food borne bacteria that isn’t agreeing with your stomach. Chipotle, do better with the sanitation of...
Read moreMy husband and I were so excited about having a Chipotle come to Circleville! Unfortunately, we have been so disappointed with this location. When we first started coming, the steak was tough, the veggies were burnt, the chips were stale, the portion sizes were a joke. We decided to give them the benefit of the doubt for a while since it was a new store. But now, maybe over a year later or so, we try it every once in a while in hopes that they’ll surprise us with better quality, but nope. We went today and it was the same story. They barely gave my husband anything in his bowl, even when he asked for double steak. I had more in mine simply because I asked over and over for “extra” of a topping if it was skimpy. The steak was chewy and funky. The veggies were burnt and limp. The high school aged workers were border-line rude. Maybe we were just spoiled when we frequented the Grove City location, but we’re pretty much over going to our local...
