Dutch Bros Coffee — Restaurant in Citrus Heights

Not the best coffee here, although I assume that's because it opened so recently and the employees are lacking in experience. Half the time I've gone here so far my coffee taste is off so I won't be coming back for a while... Hopefully it gets better with time. Service is good in that the employees are nice and everything so two stars instead of one...

Edit: After 2 months and many more times visiting because it's so close to me, this Dutch has not significantly improved... It's disappointing because I love Dutch but when my coffee is made so poorly I think I'll be completely avoiding this location for a long time. What spurred me to write this update was the caramelizer nitro cold brew I just picked up that tasted like water and which I promptly spilled as soon as I got home because it was completely unsatisfying to drink. I don't think the high schoolers employed here even drink coffee and I have no idea how so many amateur baristas were able to get hired here. I understand everyone has to start somewhere but I feel like most of the people employed here have never had jobs as baristas before in their life. All of the other positive reviews confound me because this location plainly stinks... Downgraded...

Great product and service next to Raleys and has e car charge station next to it.Drive through very efficient & table top bench seating with over hang cannopy for shade for walk ups who wish to sit down and enjoy their beverage friendly staff as always great store set up it's a bit more like a outdoor coffee shop with multi lane drive through there is hardly ever a huge wait it happens but nothing super crazy like some of the others .There is the acasinal homeless person walking around but they stay away from dutch brothers I've never seen them ask for money you just notice them holding signs by the road sometimes at the light but the police run them off pretty frequently from doing that then they disappear all together so ther precense is more of a visual from your vehicle after you leave the establishment if that makes sense nobody's asking you for change when walking up or holding signs at the drive through exit security and police...

Ordered my usual drink with soft top. They handed it over with maybe 1/8 of a teaspoon in it. I asked for more soft top and was told I didn’t order soft top (then why was there ANY soft top in there?). They charged me a dollar to add soft top. Handed it back 10 seconds later with maybe 1/4 of a teaspoon added. Talked to the regional manager who was visiting the store and clearly did not care. They gave me a cup with barely any soft top in it. By the time it cleared the cup, there was almost nothing left for the drink. Yet these people constantly ask for tips before ever handing me my drink, and I always tip them. I’m done with giving this company anymore of my business on...
