Went for the first time this morning. Service or lack of service was appalling. We stood minutes waiting to be seated. ( only people waiting) my daughter finally asked the bus person if we needed to seat ourselves- he replied yes.We had to get our own menus and was NEVER acknowledged by either waitress. We watch as she took drink orders and then food orders of two other table that sat down after us, mind you we hadn't even received water. After 20 + minutes of still waiting with a 2 yr old we got up and left . I did inform the waitress we had been waiting for 20 minutes with no service or even a "we'll be right with you". The response wasn't an apology but a deer in the head light look and basically a shoulder shrug- while she asked the other waitress if she could wait on us. I've been in customer service for over 40 years and it takes a lot for me to write a 0 star review. Sorry to say we will not be back- please treat ALL people with dignity and check your...
Read moreEsmeralda's Cafe, located at 5825 Madison Ave Ste 2 in Sacramento, CA, is an absolute delight! Conveniently located near the freeway exit with plenty of parking, this charming spot is a must-visit.
The cafe is spotlessly clean, and Griselda and Adan are outstanding managers who make you feel right at home with their quick, friendly service. I had the veggie omelet, and it was incredible! The fresh, crunchy zucchinis and the flavorful Chile sauce took the omelet to a whole new level. The accompanying potatoes and toast were the perfect complements, making it a hearty and satisfying meal.
The vibe here is warm and inviting, with soft Mexican music playing in the background, creating a relaxing atmosphere. The prices are very reasonable, making this a great spot for a delicious and affordable meal.
I canât wait to return and explore more of the menu. Highly recommend Esmeralda's Cafe for anyone looking for amazing food, excellent service, and a welcoming...
Read moreThe services was beyond amazing! The individual attention given to customers is very unique here, we did come on a weekday when it wasn't very busy. We ordered the chilaquiles, the cheeseburger, and banana with Nutella crepes. They were receptive to our individual tastes, asking how we like it cooked and they were very accommodating. If something is not on the menu, they still try to make it to the best of their ability for you. The coffee was very good. The food, although we ordered traditionally greasy foods, felt very healthy and not greasy like at other places. I hate eating at places where you can taste they recycle the oil, but here there was none of that, it all tasted amazing. The crepes were not overly sweet and were all good portions. Overall a good spot to stop by, clean, good service, and...
