Dave is the worse manager I've met in my 31 years on this Earth. I wish giving zero stars was an option. He deserves to be fired for extremely poor customer service.
On 22 July 19 at approximately 230 pm, I went to the drive-thur to receive my weekly free meal that I had won a card for exactly one month prior, on 22 June 19. The "Free Chicken for a Year" coupon states that I can receive ANY $5 fill-up box of my choice and that a breast substitute will be extra. I placed my order for the 2 piece meal with green beans instead of mashed potatoes as a side, the female informed me that she could not substitute the mashed potatoes for me. I asked her why not and explained to her that the two previous times I had visited that location, the employees allowed me to switch my mashed potatoes out for green beans. The manager gets on the mic and tells me that he cannot switch the sides for free and if he did it, he would charge me $1 extra. I said no thank you and drove to the window. Once at the window I asked to speak with the manager. The manager came to the window with an attitude. I said sir do you know what this ticket says? I told him that it says I can have any fill-up box of choice with a side and any side comes with a fill-up, no extra charge for green beans instead of mashed potatoes is normally the policy. He took my ticket from me and told me "I will do it this one time, this is a free meal, I don't know why you're complaining". That was a rude statement coming from a manager. The first picture below is how my coupon looked when I gave it to him, the second picture is how he returned it to me. I said "Sir, absolutely not! This is wrong, I have only had that coupon for one month exactly(4 weeks) and when I gave it to you it only had 2 holes in it. A free meal is given per week and one hole is punched in the coupon per meal. I received the coupon on 22June19 with the first hole given that same day, I only visited 1 other time. When Dave, the manager, gave me my ticket back it was filled with extra holes. I asked him why did he do that to my ticket and he told me, "You missed all your meals". I said sir, Ive only had this coupon for one month exactly which is only 4 holes, you have put several holes in my ticket for weeks that hasn't even passed yet. Again its one hole per week. I told him that his behavior was unacceptable and that I will be reporting him. He says "You can report me, I don't care. I will not argue with you".
It is a free meal, and I am thankful that I won the coupon for one year of free chicken but I was not asking for anything outside of what is printed on the bottom of the coupon. It honestly is not about the green beans, it is about customer service. Restaurants should be about customer service, unfortunately Dave was not trained properly OR feels he can say and do what he pleases to customers. His rude comment, attitude AND the fact that he damaged my card and placed extra holes in it for weeks that have not passed yet, is unacceptable from a manager. This is an unfortunate situation because this store just had a re-grand opening which is why I won this coupon on 22June19. The fact that Dave said to me "Report me, I don't care" shows that he is not afraid to lose his job and is not afraid of his higher ups. He does not feel he will be punished in any way, clearly.
I sure hope something will be done about this incident and about that manager Dave. He was extremely rude and disrespectful. It's not about the free chicken, it's all about his behavior. The before and after pictures proves that he is not following KFC's policy and definitely does not care about customer service.

Walking back and forth without acknowledging us. We finally were able to grab their attention and placed our order. After taking our money they then didn’t have enough chicken and we were asked to get something else. Horrible customer service. These old ladies did not want to work. Although we were kind and respectful, it was evident that they were bothered by us, the customers. On top of that they forgot one of our order and we had to go back inside to get it. Read moreI will never come to this KFC again. I just left there after waiting in line for 15 min just to order (which I didn't I just left cause I was tired of the wait). While waiting I overheard them telling the customers in front of me that they were out of biscuits with a 15 min wait and chicken strips with who knows how long of a wait because it kept changing. I understand that restaurants get busy...but that's what they do...get busy. The staff should be able to handle it. Not one person even apologized for the wait or even acknowledged the issue.
