I wanted to take a moment to update this review. Almost Immediately after I posted this I received a call from the owner Maikel. He immediately rectified the circumstances and made it right. He truly went out of his way to make me happy. He asked for another chance to return to his store. I will definitely visit again because as I mentioned earlier the food is great. I also respect that he has worked so hard for his business and unfortunately he pays for the negative actions of others. Thank you Maikel. I appreciate your call and quick response.
Today I visited the waters location. I ordered several things but when I got home and ready to eat I realized that what I ordered was not what I received.
Instead of beef empanadas I received chicken, instead of chicken croquettes I got ham. The croquettes are marked with a P which I am assuming is for pollo (chicken) but they contained ham not chicken, clearly marked incorrectly. The empanadas she gave me in a box and said that the 4 laying in same direction were the chicken ones while the other 2 that should have been beef she said were laying the opposite direction allowing me to distinguish beef from chicken. Unfortunately all 6 were chicken.
I immediately called the store and was connected with their manager Damara. I explained to her that part of my order was incorrect and explained the above.
My expectation was simply to credit me for the lack of what I received but instead she said and I quote “my employees know what they are doing”. That was straight forward an indirect implication of me not being truthful. She had a bad attitude and did not at any moment take ownership of the error made by her store and or have any compassion for the customer.
It is never in my nature to make false accusations. I only expect to receive what I paid for and when I do not due to fault of an employee I certainly expect to be compensated for the product I never received.
Damara lacks customer service skills and needs much guidance on how to treat people.
You have a business with great food for the most part but mangers like Damara work against...
Read moreI came here since I heard about this place on the radio and how the food is fresh and the best, but that was a complete lie. I walk in, unsure where to order lunch so I ask someone on the bakery side. They tell me I order and pay on the other side where there is a a selection of food laid out buffet style. I stand there and get completely ignored by the workers. I go up to one and tell her that I would like a plate to go. I start asking about the dishes I was unfamiliar with and she was just so rude, as if I was bothering her by asking questions. I ordered ham/shrimp fried rice, yucca, and baked chicken. I go to pay and the cashier is talking on the phone, doesn’t tell me what my total is, and just puts his hand out waiting for my debit card. I give it to him. He gives me the receipt to sign and I see my total came out to about $10. I sign and return it to him, waiting for my copy of the receipt and I get completely ignored. Never got my receipt. Now for the food. The fried rice tasted okay, but the shrimp was hard to chew. The yucca was bland, even though it had mojo sauce with onions on it. Finally, the chicken was dry, couldn’t bring myself to eat it after 2 bites. I really wanted to like his place since I live near by and they have a drive-thru, but nope. Never coming back. You can find better food and service literally at any other Cuban...
Read moreI’ll start with that this place has great potential. Food on display looks amazing, the shakes and juices look as fresh as they can get and prices are very reasonable. Now to my experience, I arrived at 10:35am this morning (Sunday) and there were 2 people in front of us in line. I waited about 10-15 minutes to order. I finally ordered and paid at 10:50am. Ordered 2 breakfast sandwiches and pastries to go. I finally got my 2 sandwiches at 11:30 (40 minutes after I ordered). My cousin ordered right after me and his order took just as long. They forgot to give him his coffee and my pastry. We reminded them and we got them and left. I get home and my sandwich is just bread and egg. I ordered ham, egg and cheese on bread (pan con tortilla, jamon y queso). They literally forgot to put the meat and cheese on my sandwich. I was already there for 55 minutes and then another 10-15 minutes drive back home so I wasn’t going to drive back and wait all that time again. So my first time here and it was a horrible experience. Again, they have potential but service was horrible. Everyone was friendly but way too slow, messed up my sandwich and forgot to give me some of my order ( I reminded them to give me...
