A Puertorrican food paradise!! To all of you Puertorrican people who are missing the flavors from our beautiful Island this is a Most go to.. in the area. Even if like me you have to drive an hour from where you are to get there..believe me you won't regret it..it was sooo sooo worth it. We had a number 3 family combo that came with: 1 hole chicken 1 order of pernil or ribs 2 rices ( exquisite rice with green pigeons) 2 sides yuca al Mojo/batata (so awesome) and an extra side of guineitos and cuajitos (the bomb) $49.50 For a family of 4 and we all ate and where very full.
The food was amazing that's why I gave you five stars because I miss the place from back home and with only one little taste/small bite of your food you bring back P.R to me.
On a different note from a client perspective your cashier service at the front can improve. all the guys where attentive smiling and your cashier was rude we asked her a few questions and she answer them with no care to help and rushing us to order yelling to the other employees and rushing us because there was more people in line...even when it was our first time at your place and you only have 1 menu at the end of the line... But overall you have a great place.
I learned in the way.. not to judge a service by my first visit..everybody can have a bad day..if that, it would be a very different rating. Food...
Read moreOur first visit. We really wanted to experience what the fuss was about and to rekindle if it was as amazing as they are in our PR. The food was pretty good and close to what we are used to. The girl that took our order was nice and knowledgeable, courteous. Now, unfortunately two stars for the food, the missing stars because of the rude lady that checked us out, rude and demanding. Our fist time so we did not know how was the process my husband went to tell me what to get for a drink and the lady practically screamed at him saying "no sir you can't leave" like "mijita trust we where not leaving without paying and non the less without OUR FOOD. So yeah NO. My husband got not only upset but paid and left to the car embarrassed and I waited there, like an idiot under the stares of other customers waiting, sadly we won't be back and miss out on amazing food because of rude service. Kudos to the guys that made that ice machine work so I can at least get some ice for my drink. We spended way too much to be...
Read moreI went here yesterday for a late lunch / early dinner and ordered the pernil combo with yellow rice and veggies. Thankfully my girlfriend was able to help with the ordering process because the young ladies working behind the counter didn't understand English very well. The pork was very dry but had great cueritos on top of most of the pieces of pork. Also, since the pork was so dry it was essentially impossible to cut with the cheap plastic forks & knives that were only given to us upon request. I also had to ask for napkins as there were none available at the tables or anywhere else in the restaurant. And lastly, and sadest part of the whole experience was that the young woman was using the same tongs to serve vegetables that she had just used for the pork and the veggies were bland with no flavor! I've had much better PR food and maybe this place just needs to learn what works and what doesn't work over time since they are so new. For now, I'll look elsewhere when I crave some...
