I have been ordering from this Pizza Hut for a few weeks now (since I moved to the area) and I usually have decent service up until last night. I made my usual order online and I usually get a text within 20 minutes of submitting my order to let me know the driver is on his way. Last night I waited over an hour and the tracker app still didn't even show my pizza being made. I called the store to check on my order and spoke with a really nice lady who told me they were backed up and that I would get my order soon. She said my pizza was already made but that it was cold so they were going to make me a new pizza. She said I would get to keep the cold pizza, the newly made hot pizza and that she'd throw in a side and drink of my choice to make up for the very long wait. I was more than happy with that arrangement and I wasn't upset anymore that I had been kept waiting for over 90 minutes. Unfortunately, when my delivery driver arrived, all he had was the cold pizza. That's it. Very cold pizza. I asked him where my extra pizza, side and drink were and he said he didn't know and that he just grabs the orders and goes. He apologized and told me there would be a credit put on my account for the trouble. I was not thrilled with that resolution because I already got excited about the garlic knots and Pepsi but I figured that accidents happen and I would just be fine with the $10 credit and not call to complain. Of course this "credit" was never put on my account. Really disappointed that every promise they made was broken. I will be ordering from somewhere else from now on. Obviously I cannot trust this place to follow through on their word. Read moreHad the worst experience trying to simply order 1 pizza while i was at work, i called the closest pizzahut and they told me i had to order from the Anderson road one, and as long as i ordered before they close at 11pm i was good.
So i called Anderson rd, at 10:25pm, they put me on hold, FOR 30+ MINUTES, i felt like they were ignoring me so they could wait until it was too late to take my order so i ordered online, it got canceled, i called back and was routed to a call center, finally placed my order, i got a call a minute later at 10:55pm from the manager at Anderson road saying that they had to cancel more order because it was too late, that everyone had already left and he was locking the door right then. AT 10:55PM!!! That means they put me on hold while they closed everything down, cleaned everything up and all clocked out and left before they were even supposed to stop taking orders, theres a reason why Pizza Hut is open till 11pm, NOT 10:30PM!!
Now sure, its not ideal to order 35 minutes before closing, but its even less ideal as a customer to be told a place is still open, only to be intentionally ignored so they didnt have to make 1 more pizza, the employees and manager were so eager to leave. Also, while making this complaint to the manager he hung up on me. This was on Feb 26th at 10:55pm at the Anderson Rd Pizza hut in Tampa. Unprofessional establishment, and an unprofessional Manager, too eager to go home than to stay open as long as they are supposed to. Again, even after waiting on hold for 30 minutes i still placed my order before they closed and they still canceled it. Read moreI ordered pizza and the Hersheys cookie around 10:30 o'clock at night on July 14th. I'm writing this now, July 15th at 2 in the morning. My pizza was delivered closer to 11, but the driver forgot to give us the cookie. I call the store about 2 minutes later and they let me know that the driver has one more delivery and he will come back to deliver the cookie afterwards. After 45 minutes, I call back after still not having the cookie. The (who I assume was the) manager, very professional and sweet was seemingly in shock that we hadn't received it yet and said we were supposed to be first unless he was delivering nearby. I live half a mile away from this location. I give it another hour, call back, and again, amazement that I haven't received the cookie. I give it more time and finally call back at 1:30, only for no one to answer the phone in the now empty location. The manager did give me my credit back, and assured me I would receive the cookie the 2nd time I called. She was amazing, but I wish I was just told that I would not be receiving it instead up staying up 3 hours for a cookie, only for it to be delivered. Not satisfied, I will no longer be ordering delivery with this location. Again, manager was very sweet.
Update: The delivery driver apparently told the manager I called him personally somehow and said I told him not to worry about the cookie. The manager gave me additional credit and handled...
