Update 7/11 ordered food yesterday based on Google stating the restaurant was open until 12 am. Waited about an hour and went to my email to look up what time I ordered. Rather than calling me and giving me time to order from another location the owner sent me an email "restaurant close at 11" sent at around 1120. So now I waited for no reason and have even less options at 1230am. Extremely inconsiderate I've kept giving them chances but this is the last straw. There is always an issue with this place. They have absolutely no idea how to do service recovery.
Update 6/16 service has improved slightly. Last two orders they forgot my drinks and order before that delivery driver forgot card reader even though I marked credit. And he badgered me to find cash. They ended up taking my credit card back to the store to charge it. Despite me asking them to give it to me when they came back they just dropped it off with a random person at my job. Little security issue and if it wasn't a visa gift card I would have been more livid. The food is good when you get the right stuff. And I work overnights so their operating hours work with me. Wish they were consistently more customer oriented.
Update: 3/11 I never learn: Just placed an order and when the driver showed up, despite me marking credit, he had no card reader. Then he left part of my order at the store and had to come back. Finally as I partake in my meal I realized I paid a surcharge for something I didn't order. I call the store and am told I will be put on a brief hold and then they will help. After sitting on hold for over 10 minutes I hang up and call back. The man answering tells me he doesn't know if I am lying or telling the truth and I should have called right away. I called as soon as I noticed and nevertheless was left on hold. I wasn't asking for a full refund just a credit for the missing meat. My order was over $25 dollars and to be berated and called a liar for $2 is ridiculous. Literally one of the worst customer experiences ever. I told him don't worry a credit won't be necessary because there will be no future orders. Smh.
I ordered from them last Friday and my food was over two hours late. The delivery driver attempted to deliver to the wrong location. And then when he arrived didn't have the square to charge my card. He told me to call the store and then I do they say all they can do is discount me $2 and then hang up. I have to call back to charge my card. The driver is rushing me telling me he has another delivery and the food being 2 hours late is not his problem. All around terrible customer service. And my hash browns were soggy and full of oil that leaked everywhere. I order from there at least once a week but they lost my business. And I used to recommend it to friends but now I will make sure everyone knows how bad they are to...

This place is a bona fide treasure, serving up everything from phenomenal pizza to incredibly flavorful gyros, and even venturing into the delightful world of samosas. It's truly a shining star among Albany's many eateries. The Budget-Friendly Feast As any Albany resident knows, finding an affordable, satisfying meal is a priority. My recent visit proved it's possible to dine like royalty without breaking the bank. I started with a generous slice of their Chicken Bacon Ranch Pizza, complemented by a slice of White Chicken Cheddar Broccoli. Both were a steal at just $4 each, a remarkable price given the abundant toppings. I also added three sizable samosas for only $5; they were bursting with flavor and clearly fried fresh. My total came out to a very reasonable $14, and they even threw in a free can of Coke! Service and Atmosphere: Top-Tier The service at Cafe Lark was truly immaculate. The gentleman who took my order was engaging, kind, and incredibly helpful, even offering genuine tips about other local restaurants. The food was prepared and served with impressive speed. Stepping into Cafe Lark felt like being transported to a cozy cafĂŠ in Italy. The atmosphere was spot on, offering tables where diners could truly relax and savor their meal without the typical rush. The Pizza: A New Yorker's Dream As a true New Yorker, I know my pizza, and Cafe Lark's undercarriage was phenomenal. There was absolutely no flop, a clear sign of a well-made slice. It held a beautiful fold, and the crust? To die for! Crispy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked, it was everything a pizza lover could ask for. My Verdict Food: âââââ Service: âââââ Atmosphere: âââââ Cafe Lark is an absolute gem, and I wholeheartedly recommend stopping in. This fantastic little joint undoubtedly earns a whopping 5...
Read moreThey literally sent me raw turkey bacon when I never asked for turkey bacon. The turkey bacon also was turning colors around the edges as if it was old and dried out from not being stored properly. They contaminated the food I ordered with raw turkey bacon and refused to replace the food or refund it. They then told me they never cook their turkey bacon and said next time I should ask them to cook it even though I never ordered turkey bacon. This was after apologizing and stating he misunderstood me (The person who took my call was clearly struggling with english), and saying they will make sure it doesn't happen in the future but refused to do the decent thing and make it right. The manager would not get on the phone and then the employee hung up on me. I do not recommend ordering anything from them as they literally have no concept of food safety or customer service. I definitely reported them to the department of health, so I'm sure they will be getting an inspection soon. I noticed a trend in the bad reviews with bad customer service and a comment saying sorry but no offer to make things right. I will tell everyone I know to avoid this place like the plague. In my book refusing to replace or refund me for food that could literally make me sick no different...
