Ichiban & Chang’s Garden — Restaurant in City of Albany

I've ordered from them for a while, but tonight I received pork dumplings instead of vegetable. I'm vegetarian and as soon as I bit into the dumpling I knew it was incorrect. The man I was speaking to on the phone (who insisted he was the manager though he didn't sound older than 25) told me to take a photo for proof and send it to his cell phone. After that I called back and was told that there was nothing they could do but refund my money. The 'manager' explained that Changs Garden do NOT make their own vegetable and pork dumplings, they buy it from somewhere and just boil it, so they had no idea they would get mixed up. I've been ordering from this place since 2013 and last spring they sent me an order of general Tso chicken that was so hard, I could not eat it. I was in the process of moving out of my dorm (I was a student at UA) so I called them to let them know and they offered to bring me a new plate, but I told them I was leaving and would just prefer another meal when I returned and so they said that was fine and took down my info. I got the general tso chicken. was just the right amount of crunchy and crispy. i enjoyed it. my partner got sesame chicken and lo mein and did complain about it tasting off/not great but otherwise still enjoyed it.
