Food was excellent as always. Over the past 20 years Whenever I am visiting Albany I make it a point to stop there for dinner. Although the restaurant has changed hands-on number of time the quality of the food has not diminished. The owner of the restaurant was kind enough to take 25% off of our bill because we were having dinner 45 minutes before the sale price was slated to begin. Woul highly recommend

I really loved this place, it was so tasty! Had to get an additional chicken skewers for my chicken combination the second time I ordered since the white meat chicken was so so tender. The inside of the restaurant is gorgeous but they were only doing takeout when I visited.

Delicious and very well-made dishes. Had falafel, stuffed grape leaves, and kafka pita. My daughter had chicken kabob pita. Very fresh and very tasty! Mango iced tea was very refreshing. Baklava was amazing! Will definitely come back next time we're in Albany!

If you’re on the hunt for an experience that delights the senses and warms the heart, look no further than this incredible location! The food here is nothing short of delicious—each dish is a testament to the passion and dedication of the owners, who truly pour their heart and soul into every bite. You can feel the love they put into their cooking, which translates into flavors that are simply unforgettable.

Let’s talk about the falafel, a dish that’s often overlooked, but here it reaches new heights! Crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, these falafels are bursting with flavor and make for the perfect appetizer or snack. And don’t even get me started on their lamb is nothing short of divine! The lamb is perfectly seasoned, cooked to perfection, that will leave you craving more.

The owners are not just cooks; they are the heart of this establishment. Their kindness and friendliness create an inviting atmosphere that makes every visit feel special. You’re not just a customer; you’re part of a community that celebrates good food and great company. The warmth you experience here goes beyond the delicious dishes, which, it’s about the people who make it all happen.

In a world where dining can often feel rushed and impersonal, this place stands out as a beacon of hospitality and culinary excellence. If you haven’t yet experienced the magic of their kitchen, it’s time to indulge in a meal that’s crafted with care and served with a smile. Trust me, you...

I mean the food is very fresh...and sum of the dishes are good. to my surprise I was disappointed in generalI don't particularly like sum of the dishes...especially the hummus its got to much lemon in it and the texture is a little off...also I didn't like the Rice the way they spiced it . another thing the Tahini sauce is to watery and not flavored right it basically has no flavor....and the baklava that I got was horrible. if you ever go to a real authentic Israeli restaurant they put this mamouns food to shame. the reason I gave this place a try is cause of their name i thought it was like the mamouns in the village in NYC. but there is no comparison between them the one in the city is superrrrr...

I have been craving falafel from the city since I moved to Albany. I gotta say, Mamouns is hands down the best falafel I’ve had in my life. You can taste the freshness in the ingredients - the herbs in my falafel were so bright & delicious. The chicken was seasoned just right & tzatziki was on point. Couldn’t resist the home made baklava & halva on the counter so we brought some home and we’re not disappointed. The baklava was perfectly flaky & filled with delicious roasted spiced nuts. The halva literally melts in your mouth. The food is amazing, will definitely recommend to friends. The owner seemed genuine and kind & the inside of the restaurant is beautiful. You will not be disappointed...
