Ocean Palace — Restaurant in City of Albany

I will be honest, when people ask me where I get my Chinese food from, a part of me doesn't want to say. The food is just that good, but I have told so many people to eat what I think is the BEST and freshest Chinese food in the Albany area.

The owners put so much love into the food and the service that you can feel it as soon as you walk in. I order from here all the time and realized I hadn't done a review. While most people want food delivery, OP is pickup only and that just adds to the charm. I guarantee whether you pickup or eat in, you will not be sorry about the choice to eat here.

Just go there. Eat there, don't be crazy and go somewhere else! Also make sure you treat the space and owners with respect...

This is probably the best Chinese food I've ever had. The restaurant is an unassuming little hole in the wall, but it is a hidden treasure. The menu has a lot to choose from, including some items that Americans might find strange, which I consider a mark of authenticity. As the name suggests, there are a lot of seafood options on the menu. This is a fine place to either eat in or take out; the atmosphere is pleasant. For those who eat in, there is a large round table where groups can sit down for dim sum. Dine-in customers also get hot oolong tea, which may be the best hot tea I've ever had in a Chinese restaurant. The fact that this place is open late is also a plus. I recommend Ocean Palace to all my friends who ask what a good Chinese restaurant...

Lol I just ordered SPICY Singapore noodle from here for the first time and it was not spicy when I came home and tried it . So I called after 20 MINUTES OF RECEIVING ORDER TO CONFRONT THE PROBLEM. And this lady tells me that supposedly it is spicy and that I have some expectation . I ALWAYS ORDER SPICY SINGAPORE NOODLES ANYWHERE AND ITS ALWAYS RED SAUCE AND VERY SPICY TO THE POINT WHERE U CANNOT TASTE THE FOOD .( which I love) But THIS “ SPICY “ NOODLE TASTE NO SEASONING AND U CAN TASTE ALL THE FOODS IN THERE WITH NO FLAVOR . I cannot believe this lady said that I’m wrong because my spicy is different from everyone else’s. Like tf is my spicy vs everyone else’s?????? Never coming here .
