Sandwich was fantastic, will definitely be back! The only reason for not giving a full 5 stars is that they are a bit disorganized. I watched a wrong order go out because the woman called out the order by the name of the sandwich, and not the person's name written on the order. Why on Earth would you do that? From the descriptions I heard, there were even major differences in the prep of the two orders, one was cold and one was hot. You couldn't have said "hot Garcia?", instead of just "Garcia?" Take out 101: Do not give somebody the wrong order. Ever. It is inexcusable. Why ask for a name and then not use it, ruining lunch for two customers? If you take a name, use the darn name! I watched them do the same thing with a bunch of orders being made for people eating in, using just the name of the sandwich, causing instant confusion because people had similar orders. While I was there they also forgot to make a ticket for a customer waiting in-house. She had to step forward when she saw other customers being served before her. Nobody was mad, it was all polite and smiles, but this is also inexcusable. As a long time food service professional, it was really hard to watch. If you are backing orders off the far end of your ticket rack, and losing track of what has been filled, stop taking orders for 5 minutes, and facilitate whatever other processes need facilitating. No one will care about the 5 minutes, and you will get food out the door. Piling up orders is not the main job, getting food efficiently, and correctly, out the door is. Make you have atleast an 1-1.5 hour lunch when going to this place during peak lunch time. They have 3 employees with a line of 10-12 people. The cashier would answer cater phone calls which held up the line constantly. Second, they had absolutely no napkins which i’ve never seen before, but not a big deal expect when a employee says “oh you’re gonna need napkins for this, oh wait we dont have any.” third, my sub was small, lacked meat, lacked vegetables. It was almost $8 for a half sub, which was like a 4” sub with 3 chopped pieces of tomato, and 10 pieces of lettuce. It’s obviously a problem if you can count how many cut pieces of veggies. First of all, they only take venmo, cash or cashapp.... no cards so huge bummer considering they used to. If they didn't before, thats different. Second, the service and quality of the food isn't there anymore. The hours are so weird. I think maybe they just started with normal hours again but I'm not sure. I remember going there multiple times in the past and seeing them close and I tried looking on their facebook site and didn't see any hours. The store didn't have hours until recently I think. It doesn't have that vibe that you want to sit down and enjoy your food. It feels rundown now and I miss seeing the owner their. He was so friendly always and made the experience great.
