Ichiban Sushi & Hibachi Japanese Restaurant — Restaurant in City of Auburn

The worst take out experience!!!! Called ahead to order take out, placing order was like pulling teeth. Employee who answered the phone had no idea where anything was in the computer & didn't know the menu. I don't blame the employee who answered the phone and took our order, I blame management for lack of training!!!!! So we decided to check our order prior to leaving since we do not live close. Nothing was right of course. After reordering, sitting and waiting for the correct food to be prepared we get home to find they clearly where upset and took their anger out on the plastic containers our food came in so all the sauce from the hibachi was all over inside the bag and the appetizers containers where broken also! One would think management would at the very least apologize right? Nope! Only apology we received was from the employee who took the order who was clearly new and had no support from management to ensure she knew all she needed. We will NEVER return to this...

Service was very slow..slow on drink refills while waiting the hour plus on a sat night. .3 of us went, 2 of us got food, one had to wait 20 min before they got their food...everyone's food came out cold. Cold veggies, chicken was cold and very chewy. Appetizers came out warm..but took a bit to get them..one came premeal one came with the meal, which is weird! One woman was running around doing all the orders at the tables, and I mean running..to the point she was sweating..which is kind of gross when she hands out food as well..needless to say get her some help! It was a busiers Saturday, we didn't sit at hibachi, we sat at the tables and seems like a lot for one person..drinks and orders and handing out meals! Atmosphere of the place is nothing special. Prob wouldn't hurt to clean a little more, maybe take down some of the broken decorations that were up...bathrooms smelled terrible and were like a cooler in there!!!! Place has really...

Terrible service. 4 of us out for dinner, my wife ordered gluten free dinner with no mushrooms (deathly allergic) that was to be prepared in the kitchen while our hibachi order meals were cooked. Our meal was cooked and half eaten before I had to remind the waitress to bring out my wife's meal. Once finally delivered her meal contained mushrooms. I notified the waitress who had an attitude but took the meal back to the kitchen. About 20 minutes later she brings out the meal as we have now finished and ready to go. The bill comes to $129 I ask about the inconveniences to my wife and her not being able to eat with us. There reply just take this meal home and eat it. I ask can we do something about the bill for the inconvenience. NO you have to understand our cook is very busy in the kitchen making other meals also. She has her meal. I suggest to eat else were, we will never eat...
