One star is more than I would give if it were possible.
My Mother was injured on their property at the Batavia, NY location on Sunday 2/9/25. The drive thru was closed, so customers had to go inside. It had snowed a lot and by 4 pm the sidewalks and curbs had still not been shoveled and salted. She went to walk into the restaurant and fell forward flat on her stomach injuring her ribs and bruising her knee.
Upon informing the staff of what happened, her well being was completely ignored by the rude staff. The first employee brushed her off on someone by saying, “you can handle this one” to who I assume was the MOD. The person did not ask if she was ok and quickly dismissed her by saying, “we’ll take care of it” and walked away from her. No accident report, no “I apologize,” no “are you ok?” Nothing. Dismissive and rude.
My Mother is the sweetest kind hearted lady and is too nice to be the one to cause a scene or express her frustration with anyone in a situation like that, but as a family we are infuriated and are attempting to reach anyone we can to sort this out.
My sister called requested to be put in touch with a regional manager or anyone with corporate and so far have only received one brief call to get a description of the incident. The person we spoke to informed us that it was OUR RESPONSIBILITY TO ASK TO HAVE AN ACCIDENT REPORT FILED. The employees have also combatted our claims by saying “she was fine,” when she was just trying to be kind and inform the employees that she fell as a result of them not tending to the snowy/ icy walks/ curbs. We’ve been told that we are not allowed to have the number for the regional office, and now 4 days later still have not heard back from anyone
My Mother is in terrible pain in her knee and ribs to the point where it hurts to breathe.
As a family that has spent years in the food service and customer service industries, we are infuriated and disgusted. Only a complete lack of carelessness and utter laziness could have lead to an experience this bad.
She is seeking medical treatment and is considering consulting a personal injury attorney.
Taco Bell will no longer be in consideration for 1st, 2nd, 3rd or 4th meal. Absolute garbage service and lack of empathy/ sympathy from the most basic human...
Read moreTaco Bell, Batavia NY 14020. After attending an event this past weekend, a friend and I put in mobile orders to pickup on our way home. Once we arrived, we realized that the lobby was closed, leaving only drive thru as the only pickup method. When we approached the first point of contact, the female employee asked if we would be using our mobile app and the name. I advised the employee of two separate mobile orders that we were there to pick up. The female employee responded saying that we may pull through to the 2nd window. At the 2nd window, a male employee asked for the name on our mobile order. I gave him the first name, he retrieves the bag and hands it over. I then proceeded to tell him the name on the 2nd mobile order, he begins to pick up that bag and starts to hand it over, until abruptly interrupted by a female employee who instructs him to set the bag down. She then instructed us to go around and get in the drive thru line for a 2nd time in order to receive our second order. I asked her what the sense of that would be as our orders are paid for in full, the order is completely ready and we are currently at the window. (Mind you, we had already waited approximately 25 minutes between the two windows just to pick up the first order) The female employee became immediately argumentative, slam banging things around inside on the counter. She explained that they are short staff and that it is policy to address one order at a time through the window. Idk if she was a manager, but she seemed to be making all of the decisions that evening, and in doing so, she was rude and snarky not only to co-workers but to the guests. I understand policy, but what i don't understand is what made her, as a taco bell employee, feel that she was entitled to speak to guests and her own staff as though they are below her. Needless to say, by this point the line had tripled in size and the first order was soggy at pick up. We ended up ditching all efforts and went elsewhere. Paying for 2 mobile orders, that were not even able to be consumed and then dealing with the rotten attitude from the employee was enough. We won't be returning to Batavia NY location until they get their...
Read moreFood is usually good but I just had a bad experience. I came by a bit before closing time and then went home with my food. My girlfriend realized that they messed up her food by leaving the spicy sauce on when she had asked for no spicy sauce. I went back to find out that they had closed 7 minutes early. As a result, they could not make a replacement and had apparently thrown out all of their food already (according to the woman at the window). They said that I could come by tomorrow if I wanted a replacement. We then stared at each other awkwardly while I waited for them to take my name. After a couple of seconds I asked if they needed to take my name and she went and got the binder. I do not believe that I would have been able to get my food the next day if I had not reminded her to take my name. None of theirs would have happened if they made the food right in the first place. I get that though as accidents happen. The issue would have fixable if they had not decided to be lazy and close early (it was not dead btw as there were still two cars waiting when I had gotten there). There was no apology and no effort here.
Update: I was pleasantly surprised to get the response below. However, when I gave my info, I was told that I would hear from the area manager. I never heard from anybody after that. I even sent a follow up email. It feels like they just wanted to look good on the google review and then once the issue was being handled privately they couldn’t...
