Never felt more unwelcome…. Didn’t get a chance to eat because our server didn’t care to even bother with us. We entered as the only group in the restaurant and weren’t even greeted with a hello, our drink order was taken with an attitude but after 5 minutes another customer walked in and was greeted very well and had received their drinks before us. My husband decided to leave because we felt unwanted as our drinks sat on the bar while he kept chatting and laughing with the other customer. Btw a fly kept landing on us very uncomfortable, sad we really wanted to try arrepas and support our Spanish community oh well I hope you have a better experience then us. The host and hostess simply could not be any nicer and always make every customer feel welcome. The chef is glad to talk about his special ingredients – – some of them imported from a long way away – – and to accommodate peoples special tastes. I love the Arepa with chicken and raisins, topped by one of their 3 delicious sauces. my daughter loves the sausage, and fiancé especially enjoys the shredded beef dinner that comes with some really delicious plantains.

Read moreThis place is my only real experience with arepas, and I think they have spoiled me... I have a hard time imagining any better than these! The flavors and textures of the fillings and the various sauces are so delicious. Not "spicy" so much as very flavorful. I have had the paella (YUM) and have been meaning to get down there for their weekend specials. If you live or work downtown, it's a great spot for a delicious, filling, affordable, and fast lunch and/or dinner! The music selection is always on point, too.
They also own a food truck that serves food on location regionally, which is how I found them in the first place. Catch em if you can....
