Rolando's Diner — Restaurant in City of Binghamton

I ordered some chicken sandwiches and some fries. I asked were the chicken sandwiches like it was back in the day and I was told yes. The waitress added my order in which she tried to charge me more than what she was supposed to and said I discounted it. Luckily before she gave me the price I asked for a menu to check the prices. I then added it up to the new price. I did pull out my calculator to make sure it was correct. I paid and went home 3mins away. The fries looked old and the chicken was not how it use to back when Rolando owned it. I called to complain about the fries not being fresh and the disgusting waitress said I watched him take them out the fryer and I said they weren't even hot so she hangs up on me. Surprise I showed up and brought the fries back and the waitress ran to the back to let her boss come try and handle me. While I'm telling him that the fries wasn't fresh hear she jumps in saying I was rude to her on the phone. He tried to make more fries and I said no I want to be reimbursed. He tried to say I was there an hour ago and I pulled my receipt out to show that it wasn't a hour. He tried to toss the fries back saying he wasn't going to reimburse me and I told yes you are. To anyone who visits this establishment make sure to get a menu to check the prices and take cash because now its a surcharge for credit...

On saturday's they close at 2. I got there at 1:59. Pete offered to make me a cold sandwich and added everything exactly like I asked. They don't have a hot relish so he mixed together mayo and some hot sauce and it was poerfection! Thank you so much Pete!

Debbie is also amazing. She has two modes, kickass lunch rush wiatress and wonderfully friendly waitress when things slow down. She always takes my order quickly, gets my drink within 30 seconds and brings me my food quickly wjem it/s ready. She's truly a master diner waitress. Cute too! Wonder if she's single...

The food is amazing, delicious and I had never had chicken speedies before! If your visiting and want to try the real real NY dinner come here and either get chicken speedies on rice, a salad or a wrap. You won't be disapointed!

The prices will leave you wondering how they make a profit! Tip generiously, because this place is SO worth it! If you take care of them, they'll take care of you!

On November 1 my husband and I went to breakfast. My husband has many health problems. Parkinson's disease, kidney disease a long list. His memory is poor. Partly from Parkinson's partly due to fluid restriction because of stage 4 kidney failure. Since he cant drink a normal amount of fluid toxins remain in his system. I have to help him with his menu choices. While we were in the process of choosing our meal. I heard the waitress say to a male customer see what I have to put up with. The man laughed. (She is the waitress in black sweater on this site.) On the 31. My husband's aide Tricia told me he was upset with her because he thought she was paying for his soda at the wrong place in dunkin donuts. Tricia said she had to ask an employee where to pay so he would calm down. I told Darrel that we're welcome at Rolandos so we wont be back. I hope this woman never has to live my life. I cry some days because I dont know how much longer...
