As soon as we walked in we could smell the delicious cookies baking and the coffee brewing and knew this was a major upgrade from the Sweet Frog that used to be at this location. You can tell that the new owners did a great job of updating the interior, adding a coffee bar with an espresso machine. They kept the self-service ice cream taps but don't try to use them yourself, they they put the ice cream together for you here. Which is totally fine because now they offer all sorts of hard Perry's ice cream. We had a Perry's Bittersweet Sinphony hot fudge sundae and a coffee milkshake. They were both incredibly tasty. The concept of coffee and ice cream in the same place just has so many amazing possibilities for combinations, I'm so happy to see it on the South Side. I personally recommend parking at the new garage on Washington Street and then walking down across the Washington Street bridge if you want a scenic walk to pair...

Stopped in on a road trip through NY (it's just off Route 81 & 86) and so glad we did! It's just steps from an Electrify America (Evolve NY) supercharger. Plugged in for charging and stopped here for some iced coffee and ice cream. First, the service is outstanding. The staff we welcoming, smiling and a pleasure to speak with. The location is excellent as described above. And let's not forget the food and drinks - excellent coffee and we opted for the banana boat - woah - it was HUGE! This is such a nice little breakfast spot. I noticed a nice little take out crowd as I headed inside. I met a friend and we enjoyed hanging out in the cafe (one of us is a coffee nerd and the other tea—everything was delicious). Great service provided and it was very clean inside. It was a bit pricey for what we got, but it also felt like a well cared for restaurant. We were told you can host meetings with AV requirements in the back room or have private meetings or parties as well.
