Aniello's Pizzeria — Restaurant in City of Corning

My husband, kids and myself go here all the time. Food is amazing! Can get busy and noisy but it's a pizza place so it's okay! We eat in and take out at least 5 times every month. Last night we were so impressed I had to leave a review because I don't leave reviews often unless it's something either very impressive or very disturbing. Last night we had our first bad experience there that got completely turned around. I ordered a salad without tomatoes (I hate tomatoes... I'm not awfully picky but whole tomatoes chunks make me gag) They were incredibly busy and after about 25 mins (I'm trying to entertain our two year old) and the guy who took our order and was supposed to make it asked me what our order was again like her forgot... So I told him again and was being patient.... 45-60 mins total waiting (so we are a little irritated at this point because people have come after us, ate and left and we didn't even eat yet) he finally brings out the slices of pizza for the kids, my husband's sub and my salad.... With heaping tomatoes.... So I asked if I could have it without tomatoes and he didn't seem to comprehend. I told him I ordered without tomatoes he was going to scoop the tomatoes off infront of me then took it to the back and came back out two minutes later with the same salad... He scooped the tomatoes off the top and I know this because there was still chunks of tomatoes on it and tomatoes juice and seeds on it.... At this point I'm getting upset.... So I calmed down for a minute and kept feeding our toddler my husband and other kid are half way done already. I calmly took the salad up to a guy who I've seen working there for years and I just told him the situation not to get the water in trouble but just to get my money back because I was just done and wanted to leave. He offered to make another really quick and was quite upset at the service we got. I thanked him but explained my family was almost done eating, it was getting late because we waited for an hour just for the food, and I just wanted to leave at this point. He was kind and gave me my money back no problem and asked who our waiter was so I told him and he apologized again. The fact I didn't get a hassle or issues to get my money back and was apologized to not once but twice was amazing in itself because you don't get companies like that anymore... To make it better I went back and my family was finishing up and a few minutes later another worker came over who must have been a manager and he laid a gift certificate on the table and apologized and wanted to give me that to help make it up to me. I told him I got my money back and it was okay he didn't have to do that too and he insisted and said he wanted to and that should never have happened and he was sorry. I was floored.... I thanked him and I was blown away at this company.... It may not seem like alot to other people but I don't complain often and don't usually ask for money back because I don't like arguing with people because half the time the company doesn't care anyways... And i don't like getting workers in trouble... This company not only didn't blame me, didnt give me hassle, gave me my money back but sought us out and gave us a gift certificate just to apologize.... This was the only bad experience we ever had here and the staff went above and beyond to make it right and that's more than I see anywhere else ... we will definitely be back and I had to share when staff make their company stand out against the rest! I can't say enough how impressed I was and what a wonderful...

Atmosphere-4 stars- Aniello’s Pizzeria in Corning, NY, offers a warm and inviting atmosphere that blends the charm of a traditional New York-style pizzeria with the comfort of a family-friendly eatery. Located on East Market Street, or the strip that I call it.

The interior features simple decor adorned with historical family photos, creating a nostalgic and cozy setting. The ambiance is relaxed, allowing patrons to enjoy It’s a place where you can feel at ease, whether you’re dining alone, with family, or in a group.  Plenty of seating inside (tables and booths) and few tables outside.

Service- 4 stars- hard to rate since this is counter service however the staff were friendly and even though it was busy they didn’t rush you when ordering. When your food is ready they bring it to your table.

Food- 4 stars- this is mainly a pizza place but I just felt like a hoagie on my visit. They recommend the Meatball Parmigiana Hoagie- saying it was their most popular choice in hoagies. With that saying I thought it was just ok- I have better- not saying it was bad but just not what I was hoping for especially if it was the most popular choice. We did get a few slices of pizza (Buffalo chicken and plain cheese) I tried the chicken buffalo and the pizza is great and I wish that is what I would have gotten. Should have known better- when going to a Pizza place get the Pizza lol. Highly recommend a...

5/8/24 Came in tonight looking for a sub. Damn if Jasmine wasn't here. Usually do a salad. Tonight I was going to skip it. Asked if Jasmine who was taking my order would be makin' our salad. On the yes... We got salad. Yep! Kid has the touch! It was great...

05/21/23 Best Antipasto was just kicked up. Jasmine made it chopped, cut and mixed better! Making the best "better"! Wow... Greatest pizza and salad anywhere.

Update: Tried something different this week. Monday and yesterday. Aniello's hot cheese steak! OMG!!! First try had mayo. I'm not a fan of mayo, but the hearing, well you might understand. It was incredible! So yesterday we were passing through Corning. Stopped in and tried it again, this time with the bbq sauce. Just incredible! So for decades it was the best pizza there is. Now, I have to try some other choices. Still the best pizza! Now with more choices. Wow....

Update: Just love Aniello's. Best of the best. Heading for Florida and it's the only thing bad. Aniello's South would be such a great addition. North Fort Myers! Yep, that's what we need! Please? What a great team here at Aniello's!!!

We drive from 25 miles for Aniello's. Its so worth it! Best staff anywhere..... The best pizza restaurant anywhere. Try the artichoke and roasted red pepper white pizza. Its our favorite pizza. The antipasto salad is great. So much to love about...
