West End Gallery — Attraction in City of Corning

Unfortunately, I have not yet had the pleasure of visiting West End Gallery. Hopefully, post-pandemic, I will be able to do so! I found West End through one of their amazingly talented artists a few years ago and I have been following them on Facebook and Twitter ever since. Recently, all of the pieces fell onto place for me to finally acquire an original painting by that artist, which meant purchasing through West End.

For anyone thinking about a long-distance transaction like, please do! I contacted the gallery about my interest via email and they sent me photos of the entire exhibit the painting I was interested in was in, as displayed in the gallery. The purchase process was easy, just call them.

I corresponded with Lin via email inquiries and Jesse on the phone to finalize purchase. They were both very helpful and very friendly and pleasant to deal and communicate with. Very prompt with communications, and they genuinely care about the piece you're interested in, the artist that created it, and you and your experience.

I completed my purchase ona Friday, they shipped it the following Monday (to avoid any languishing in a distribution center where the risk of exposure to who knows what damage could occur), and I received the painting two days later. The care in wrapping, padding, and boxing was clearly evident and very much appreciated! It arrived in pristine condition and was absolutely perfect and beautiful!

I wandered into the West End Gallery while walking through town on a visit and I was immediately blown away. The gallery was full of a vast variety of different artists and mediums with plenty to look at at every turn. The atmosphere was warm and inviting (which isn’t always typical of galleries) and the staff, Jesse and Lin were very welcoming and wonderfully personable. Even if you are only looking, this place is absolutely worth a stop. It’s also family owned and operated which is a huge plus in my book. Thank you again for the warm welcome ladies! It's a very beautiful gallery and the art is very beautiful aswell, the lady's running the gallery are super friendly and very helpful with answers questions and talking about the art. I will be going back for future events and to buy...
