P*DUBS PIZZA WINGS N' THINGS — Restaurant in City of Dunkirk

Let me preface this by saying that I normally do not leave reviews for places, good or bad, so the fact that I’m writing this at all says something. Secondly, I’ve got to say that this was absolutely, without a doubt the worst food service I’ve experienced in my life so far. The workers are miserable. They were short staffed and I get that’s stressful but at the end of the day they chose to work food service and it’s not my fault that I wanted to get some food to eat at a restaurant, which I can say with confidence considering I’ve worked in food service for several years now. They took my girlfriend’s order, which was ridiculously overpriced. 18 bucks for a meatball sub with warmed up meatballs and sauce, with a drink. But that would’ve been passable if it didn’t have the level of quality as our college dorm food. After taking her order, she proceeded to answer the phones, which is understandable because we were dining in and the calls are more time dependent. The thing is, I stood at the counter patiently for well over 20 minutes, and not once was I even asked if I wanted to order. They just ignored me and at one point said that my girlfriend’s sub would be done shortly in a rude way, which was the only thing they said to me. When they finally finished making the sub, which took literally 20-30 minutes of waiting, they just threw the sub on the counter hard, like almost slamming it into the surface and walked away. 20-30 minutes of waiting for a sub with 3 premade ingredients just for it to be given it rudely as if we were such a burden for wanting to eat at an open restaurant. At the end of it all, she didn’t even ask me if I wanted to order so I just left pissed off and grabbed food back at my college campus. The overall experience was extremely terrible and ruined what was supposed to be a cute little date night getaway for my girlfriend and I. Could not recommend this...

I used to like pizza wings and things. Now I over looked how expensive they are. But me and my bf always ordered from there but overtime we notice that when the subs are made, the bread is hard and they ripped us off on the toppings of the sub. Then the pizza bread is either burnt and hard or too soft. And the wings suck. We go to other pizza joints for the wings. And we had more than enough experience with inconsistency on the food and it's not good especially for those prices. Also when we sit in and eat it's always dirty, the tables would never be cleaned up we would have to ask someone, and we get a bad attitude from either one of the people who work there at the times we been there When we ask if they can clean the table. And usually all the tables would be dirty. So we decided to start getting delivery instead. A few times we called it was ok. But now what makes me never eat at pdubs is that when me and my boyfriend called to get a delivery, a girl told us that they can no longer deliver to our place because we short changed the driver. We were so appalled by that lie. We always paid the amount full and if we could we also gave tips. The last driver was a guy and we know he lied. We would never short changed the driver. Either he pocketed the money or the girl I spoke to on the phone gave us the wrong amount. Cuz me and my bf would never do anything like that. On the overall this place has poor food that's expensive, bad workers and delivery drivers, and now they falsely accused us when all this time we were always loyal customer, and they never seem to keep the place clean and the workers put annoying music on and too loud like its a club. Walked in later in the evening. No other customers in the place. While one girl was busting it up making ALL the food in the back, the other girl ignored me for ten minutes as she begrudgingly took phone orders that were coming in. What made that turn into one star situation was standing there right at the counter as this girl's legs must have gotten fatigued from working a few hours that she then pulled up a bar stool, turned her back to me, with no type of acknowledgment that I was standing there while she dredged her way through about four phone orders where each of the customers questions about price or product she deflected to the poor girl who was the one person in the kitchen making the food at all of the stations! What is wrong with this generation??? I had to walk out. So I guess I'll never know how good or bad the food is because the service left such a bad taste in my mouth.
