Janette's Fine Dining — Restaurant in City of Elmira

I love the thin batter on the fish is why I always go here for the fish. The portions are fine I get mac & cheese / fries. The wife tried the seafood platter, too many fries not enough clams she has tried it twice. The fish fry is better in our opinion. The wings are nice large wings we had them a few times. The young girl that takes your order seems less than motivated last visit I had to chase her down to get our bill after about 20 minutes of waiting = we were the only people there so it wasn't like she was overwhelmed. I think she is the daughter she really drags her feet I have never seen her smile definitely not qualified for Texas Roadhouse. We would recommend this place for the food the owner / cook is pretty quick to get...

The hot wings were really good but the extra sauce made them messy and just a little too much for the initial bite.

The hamburger wrap was really good - not greasy and the tortilla held up well.

The fries were delicious, very crisp and not greasy either.
