McDonald's — Restaurant in City of Elmira

My order was a double quarter pounder meal large with a sweet tea and a 10 peice chicken mcnugget meal large with a sweet tea and a cheeseburger and small fries, the woman only rung me up for cheeseburger and fries and quarter pounder meal then told me to pull around..I asked if she got the nugget meal also she apologized and rung me up for a separate order, I paid at the first window they explained that the woman was new I was okay with that, I went to the second window and they began to give me a large drink and a medium drink I said I ordered 2 large and I was informed that there were 2 large and 1 medium on my bill ..I only ordered two large sweet teas with the two large meals that i ordered......we came home which is a 10 mile drive and began to try to enjoy the food and right away upon sipping the drinks found out they we not sweet tea they were unsweetened..also one of the burgers on the double quarter pounder was rare and still bleeding so my son was not able to eat his burger and I gave him my cheeseburger....the food is extra expensive and a meal was not even able to be eaten I will not return to that McDonald's ..we use to always have great service there and the food was usually one of the better ones And it steadily is getting worse! Absolutely the worst McDonald I have ever had! We went to this McDonald on our road trip from Canada to NYC and we always chose McDonald along our route for food stop as we trust McDonald’s food and service. This location was an absolute failure in terms of service and food quality. We waited more than 40 mins for a simple order and during our wait we’ve seen other customers from the drive through line came in to demand a refund because they don’t want to wait any more, the staff didn’t even apologize and just processed the refund then go back to their relaxed work pace with no urgency while there are customers waiting in line both from the drive through and in store. When we finally got our food, we quickly went back into our car and started driving and wife starts unwrapping the food then realized the burger were half cold and the lettuce looks stale also smelled funny. She took one bite and showed me the burger I immediately told her to spit out and threw out the remaining in trash bag because I don’t want her to have food poisoning on our road trip. We had to stop at next McDonald location to order the same burger and only waited less than 10 minutes even though there were also a line of customers and the food is...

I haven't been to McDonald's in about 3 or 4 years and was in a hurry so I gave it a try. The interior had changed significantly as did their ordering process which steers you towards using an app. It was difficult to tell what they even had available besides for their 8 main value meals. So I settled on a southern style chicken sandwich meal. I paid with cash which seemed to catch them off guard. I did get my food very quickly. The chicken sandwich was not good at all. The lettuce was old and severely wilted the bun was stale and of low quality even for fast food. The chicken was horrible, more salt and preservatives than chicken I can only assume. French fries were clearly made in dirty oil and soggy not to mention all in tiny pieces. I was hungry so I just ate the food and tried to wash it down with plenty of ice tea. Within 20 minutes my stomach felt like I had swallowed a pound of crushed stone. My body felt almost like I was comming down with the flu, thankfully I wasn't. I can't believe that one a company can sell something like that and two that people buy it. I would not recommend eating food from McDonald's and certainly wouldn't feed it...
