Amazing facility!
It's huge. Located in an old Federal building, the architecture is phenomenal. Inside, it has been reconfigured to create several different 'atmospheres'. Kind of hard to explain, but you can get comfortable in many different areas- the bar, long tables, round tables on the interior as well as tables with window seating. I also believe that there is an outdoor seating area on the second story. I believe that there is a pool table and some dart boards, also.
Many options of drinks available, I had the Ellicotville Blueberry Wheat draft, and Blueberry Cider, which both are delicious and I could drink a dozen of.
In fact, there are so many options that you will not be dissatisfied if you visit this establishment.
As for food, also so many options - too many to list so make sure you check out their menu online to see what they offer.
We ordered the Jumbo Pretzel which is served with a cream ale cheese sauce and Bavarian mustard. To be honest, it could easily be an appetizer for up to four people, if you are a light snacker.
Then, we ordered a half order of wings, and boneless wings.
The regular wings were absolutely delicious. Fried to a perfect crispness, coated perfectly with sauce. Not many places locally seem to be able to make wings correctly these days, but Ill Eagle nailed it! Boneless wings were ok, but not special.
The couple that we were with ordered a cheese steak sub, which came with actual sliced pieces of beef rather than steak ums, and a flatbread pizza that was a bit underwhelming, but was decent sized for one person.
Overall, will...
Read moreFirst thing, really glad to see open restaurants! We (6 friends) visited for the first time, Saturday, Mid February. Beers, and food. For the most part, things were great (we'd recommend the "Dill Pickle Pizza" )However when my “Bison Steak and Cheese” arrived, I was very disappointed. If you take a look at the picture attached, I think you’ll understand why. It’s not anywhere near how your menu describes...”it’s meaty”! However, “A big roll to put it on”...was indeed accurate. I almost thought it was a joke! I didn't complain at the time...you know how it is when you're hungry and everyone else is eating?! I did send an email to the one listed on the website, but no response. I called several days ago, spoke to someone(I'll not include a name) who said they "would look into it" Again, no response. Should things change (not free food, just acknowledgement) I'll update the review.
EDIT: I did receive correspondence acknowledging my review, and offering to correct the issue. The review has been updated to 3 stars. When I visit again, I will provide additional comments...
Read moreI truly enjoyed everything about this restaurant. The servers and bartenders are super friendly and knowledgeable about everything they have. I had the Smashburger, Italian Sausage bites, and Pork Bites. All of which were fantastic! They also have a great collection of local beers and wines. Make sure to try the Pumpking ale is you visit in the next few weeks. I'm not even a pumpkin spice fan and loved this beer. I honestly can't say enough about how great everyone was their. The employees and the locals who came in all make the experience top notch! Update: 2nd time going and it's still absolutely fantastic. Service is great, food is superb, beer selection has everything, and the atmosphere is fantastic. I review a lot of places from east to mid west across America and I honestly can't say enough about how much I enjoy going here. You have to give them a try if you're in the area! I will 100% be back next time...
