Lindell Deli and Grocery — Restaurant in City of Long Beach

I ordered a 4 foot hero from Lindell a couple of weeks ago for a party we had at the house. Turned out to be a great choice! Ordered 1/2 Italian, and 1/2 Chicken Cutlet with Potato and Mac Salad (no cole slaw), and hot peppers on the side. Order was ready early, everything was correct, the guys brought everything out to my car, and I was gone in minutes. Just what you want when you have 15 people coming in the next half hour. Sandwiches were excellent, full of meat, great bread, and cut to nice sizes. Salads were fantastic, I wouldnt go back without getting their potato salad, it was the best. Also included a huge tray of sliced pickles and olives, and all of the dressing you could think of. My guests and I all thoroughly enjoyed the food, and leftovers were almost non existant. Been going there for years. So I order my weekly usual. Two hours later on a road trip I realized they put mustard in it by mistake. I’m allergic and can’t eat it. I go in next week for my usual and tell the owner. He barely acknowledged me and walked away as I was telling him.( There was 1 other person in the deli). I told the girl making my sandwich. They both ignored. Offered nothing. No Free sandwich, not even a discount. I asked him and he ignored me. Held out his hand for my money. I mean you’re going to lose a weekly customer of years for 7 dollars? And if you’re not exacting in your Customer service, where else is the business lacking? My name is Alex Sylvia and it was a beautiful day in long beach until disaster struck. If there was an option I would have given zero stars. I found a bug in my turkey sandwich. My friend Caitlin Buchala found a worm and maggots in her sandwich crawling on the lettuce. Nail clippings were found in Camden Hetrick’s potato salad. They did not use gloves to make Jane Hoeflinger’s sandwiches and my friends and I were told to stop talking when speaking amongst ourselves.
