Minnesota's — Restaurant in City of Long Beach

Apparently, the owners of this establshment disliked my review so much that they actually wrote and complained to have it removed!! So, I will try to include as much as I can from my experiences there without having to hear the owners of Minnesotas cry that they didn't like it!! In a word, this place is disgusting!! The food is nasty...greesy, flavorless, and just down right gross...wouldn't feed it to my dog!! The bar always smells like stale beer and smoke...although since they they got trashed from the hurricane and rebuilt, perhaps they actually washed it down!! As fas as the atmosphere...they crank the music so unbelievably loud, you can't hear anybody! Found out from a study why they do this...you drink more when you can't talk to, or hear people! Out of all the bars in long Beach, they are 1 of 2 places that charge a 10$ cover even when there's no band! The staff are arrogant and obnoxious! They still allow people to smoke in there even though it's been banned in bars for years! They turn a blind eye to it. When I asked the bouncer to ask the smokers to go outside, he said, "the owner said not to stop people and that they only receive a slap on the wrist", so he couldn't or wouldn't do anything! Many other bars and restaurants to choose from in Long Beach...I would HIGHLY suggest going elsewhere!!

We are happy to hear criticism, Dave, but your review just left us feeling frustrated. You insulted our business, instead of offering us room to improve. You insulted our staff as well. After all we've been through with Sandy, we're a family, and take feedback seriously but this is not feedback, you have an agenda, a grudge, clearly.

So when you are calling our establishment "Disgusting" and our staff "Arrogant and "Obnoxious" you are insulting every one of our customers and the town.

Dave, In short, your an angry, bitter man.......scratch that, your not a man, men don't post cowardly garbage like this.

By the way your review has been passed around at Minnesota's and has become quite the hit, so thank you.

So you keep being angry at the world, and we'll keep doing everything we can to make our guests happy and coming back for more.

Sadly, if they had stuck with the first paragraph, and asked me to give them another chance, maybe I would have! Instead, they throw nasty insults to a customer that critiques their establishment! Gives you more insight into this disgusting establishment and the brilliant employees...

My most recent experience was October 3, 2020. It was the most mediocre experience I’ve ever experienced in my entire life and I am apalled to call this restaurant a Long Beach establishment.Not only did the bounces over use their rights as well as degrade my civil rights they also broke the law as well as degraded me and my friends ,I am highly disappointed in this restaurant and it was not what was expected and was very disappointing that this establishment is still in business.i asked to speak to a management or a supervisor and had no response except degrading and emotional degrading remarks from the staff ..especially the security staff . I will be pressing charges for multiple members or of the staff for multiple different changes.I’ve been a local in Long Beach my entire life ,Born and raised and I’ve never been treated like this. I highly recommend do not go to this restaurant! -Long Beach local. I’m hoping a manager or supervisor reaches out to me sooner than later so I can discuss my issues ,Questions, and concerns for everybody’s well-being in satisfaction.If not I will be forced to prioritize pressing charges against the security staff As they disregarded my civil rights as well as broken And disregarded their laws and guidelines that they are required to follow as New York State bounces/official security guards. My friends and i built Minnesota's in the sense that we provided the music and the bartenders were absolutely fantastic! Woody💯 Minnesota's was like a home to all off us and we were a family! I've never ever paid too get inside or this review would really be devastating! Let's start with the security! I didn't know people were still talking steroids and they have to be ex police officers with anger issues😠 And Ladies be ready to be asked for sexual favors for entry😈 As soon as you set foot inside the Fire Department should be called for over capacity🚑🚒 If you can bring ski poles just so you can make it across any wood surfaces because they are covered in Beer and spilled Drinks that are never ever cleaned up🚷 Try getting a Drink😄😄😄 Prisoners off War get a drink quicker! Let's talk about the management🤡🤡🤡 They are never available and do not deescalate any situation🙊🙉🙈 This was my absolute favorite place ever! I mean that with all my Heat💯 Last time i was there was on my Birthday last year!
