This is a newly found treasure that I stumbled upon by accident. I'm so glad that I did. And now I think this diner will be one of my most favorite places to go to from now on... This diner is a small and quaint place to come by yourself or with your family, friends, or your date. Though it is a small place it is very spacious on the inside. The parking lot fills up quickly on a busy day or night. (Which is the tell take sign of a great establishment.) However parking spots are well placed and wrap around the entire property. The entrance is handicap accessible. The food is fresh and the menu here has a lot to offer. Menu prices are reasonably priced for a working stuff or someone on a budget. (In other words, you'll walk out of here with change left.) The staff are kind and courteous, well dressed, and will help to accommodate you if they're able to. The restrooms are clean and tidy for such a busy place. (However the sink in the Men's restroom needs replacing as the hot water doesn't work well on one of the faucets and may be a plumbing issue with the lines.) Weekends are where you get families and couples come in for breakfast, brunch, and dinner. 🍽️ Weekdays you'll find shoppers from the nearby Pelham Manor Mall and the working people from the area and the lovebirds from the Motel close by. Oddly enough, the Columbus Diner stands for me as a hidden gem, an oasis in a desert of industrial trades and retail shopping businesses in this area. I like the aesthetic and atmosphere of this little diner. The vibe here is upbeat and casual. When you come here you feel like you are instantly at home and safe. You are welcomed with warmth and hospitality. Everything on the menu here is delicious and appetizing. So feel free to try everything they offer in their selections. ****BE SURE TO LET THE STAFF KNOW IF YOU HAVE A GOOD ALLERGY SO THEY CAN OFFER YOU SOMETHING THAT SUITS YOUR PARTICULAR ALLERGY CONCERNS.**** Enjoy

A True Old-School Gem! Columbus Diner is one of those rare spots that takes you back in time the second you walk through the door. It’s the kind of old-school diner that’s getting harder and harder to find — classic booths, a long counter with spinning stools, and that warm, inviting smell of fresh coffee and sizzling bacon in the air. The menu is huge (as any real diner’s should be), offering everything from hearty breakfasts to stacked sandwiches and comforting dinner plates. Whether you’re in the mood for fluffy pancakes, a juicy burger, or a homemade meatloaf, you can’t go wrong here. Everything is cooked just right, portions are generous, and the prices are more than fair. What really makes Columbus Diner stand out, though, is the vibe. It’s got that neighborhood charm — the waitstaff is friendly, quick with a smile, and they remember the regulars. There’s something comforting about a place where the coffee’s always hot, the jukebox still works, and you feel like you’re part of the family. If you appreciate a no-frills, authentic diner experience with great food and a laid-back atmosphere, Columbus Diner hits the mark. It’s a local treasure that keeps the old-school spirit alive. Highly recommend!

Smells fresh, table neat, place looks clean. There is s sit in bar area, which is very appealing and looks well stocked. Menus could take an upgrade. Waitress didn't introduce herself, but when asked, she quickly gave her name. The soup was good. Salad fresh and nice. The pasta was ok. Do not eat the oxtail. It does not have any color or taste, or flavor (what did I expect). The tea cup size is appropriate, and I love that the cup is seen through. The serve was fine, maybe we went with too high hopes. One thing is less from my bucket list. There is wheelchair ramp. Dining table presbt that can accommodate wheelchair as well. Lots of parking, all around the property, as we went during the week, not sure about the weekends, parking is free as well. The parking lot is well lit. Overall, the experience is worth a try.

This location lost a long time customer. Never again. Waiter very super nice as all when I go, but tonight the manager or owner not sure what he is was very rude, nasty and very disrespectful. Tonight was a family night, my children and my mother who has cancer were spending what could be her last get together and we decided to eat here since my mother likes it alot. My daughter has an emotional service dog. We asked before going in if it was allowed and was told yes. We were seated given menus and we were ready to order when the unprofessional, rude, cold hearted, waste of space person (manager or owner) embarrasses us in front of every customer there telling us we had to leave, no service dog is allowed. We tried telling him we were told it was okay but he was just a nasty person. Embarrassed, we left with everyone looking at us, my daughter had a panic attack outside because of how a 79 yr old lady with cancer was treated and embarrassed in front of people like a child. Basically, a nice family day and evening was ruined by this worthless person. When we were leaving, even the waiter looked at us embarrassed by what this man did. As a frequent customer who used to go there, I will never step foot there again, and I do not ever recommend going to this location. I know some places do not allow service animals, which is the reason I always ask first because I understand, but we asked and were told it was okay. Even some customers that were leaving told us they couldn't believe what occurred and even made sure my daughter was okay. New Rochelle diner is a few minutes away, and Gun Hill Diner also, they treat their customers better and with respect. If you don't allow service animals put up a sign and don't tell customers it's okay, just to embarrass them for your own pleasure. I believe in Karma, and I know a wrong will...
