Five Guys — Restaurant in Town of Pelham

Let me preface this by saying: I love Five Guys. The burgers? Amazing. The fries? Legendary. But the service at Five Guys 808 Pelham Pkwy? Whew… let’s talk about that.

I had someone pick up an order for me, and while they were there, they decided to get something for themselves too. Totally normal, right? Apparently not. While they were looking at the menu, a worker named Kyla asked, “Do you want to order?” They responded, “One moment,” but that wasn’t enough for Kyla. She asked again. And again. And again. Like she was stuck on repeat.

When she didn’t get an instant response, she rolled her eyes, sucked her teeth, and walked off. Not quietly either she went straight to the back, giggling with her coworkers like it was a sleepover, not a place of business.

Now look, we all have off days. But this wasn’t “oops, I’m tired” energy. This was “I don’t want to be here and I’m going to make sure you know it” energy. And here’s the wild part the manager himself gave out a number to report her, saying he’s trying to get her out of there because of that exact attitude. When your manager is actively trying to get rid of you, maybe it’s time to reflect.

The food, as always, was great. But the service? Left a bad taste. I came for burgers, not attitude with a side of eye rolls. Please get it together, Five Guys. Some of us just want fries...

The cashiers have attitudes. I asked for a chocolate shake, they’re out of chocolate. I asked what do they have, he says “everything except chocolate.” I said okay so you have oreo? He says “We have everything except chocolate. I said we have everything except chocolate.” I’m like ....ok.... Can I have oreo????? I can’t figure out why he was so mad that I asked if they have oreo. He needs to quit his job if he hates working at five guys. Hire people with better attitudes. They also don’t start making your online orders until after you ask them about it. The whole point of ordering online is so you don’t have to wait. This defeats the whole purpose. There’s about 7 employees running around behind the counter so I don’t understand why everything takes so long. There are better five guys locations. Don’t go...

USD$37 for two bacon cheeseburgers all the way + 1 large fries + 1 bottled water

For some reason I thought Five Guys was very similar to McDonalds and refused to give them a try for SO LONG.. but I was pleasantly surprised and loved my order

The bacon cheeseburgers were on point: perfect patties, onions perfectly grilled, perfect amount of all added toppings, size was P E R F E C T - the fries were very good, maybe less salt but other than that - really good.

Its a very basic menu - I was surprised I did not find any chicken options, but Id definitely love to go back

Service was very good, the order came out really quick and staff was nice

The place was very well kept and clean - its a fast food eatery though, pretty basic... but I would definitely go back or order with...
