Joe's Fleetwood Pizzeria — Restaurant in City of Mount Vernon

I wish I could give this restaurant a million stars! I never ever write reviews but the food was AMAZING! I had organized a last minute luncheon for our department and had a small budget. Alex was not only patient with me but helped me get our money's worth. He offered suggestions and promised me the food choice items would not disappoint and he was not lying. I ordered chicken parmigiana and he sliced it nice and thin and cooked it very well with a nice crust. The sauce was seasoned well and the ziti was delicious. We also had 5 fresh pizza pies cut double. We had the house salad and he threw in some bread. The food was fresh and you could taste that it was. Alex had his driver deliver the food exactly on time and the food was nice and hot. I can go on and on but if you are hosting an event and need catering or just want to have some good Italian food and pizza don't second guess yourself just go to Joes Fleetwood Pizzeria. Went in today to buy a regular slice of pizza and 3 beef patties one with extra cheese and2 with cheese and pepperoni, waited for maybe 12 mins everything wrapped horribly in foil into a small box. Paid got home beef patties were burnt and looked unappealing, I call and explain what the problem was went back to the pizzeria ,the young funny looking slim guy who talks too much is over hauling the return like I cooked it my self. Then after speaking in his language into the restaurant he comes back to the counter to over haul it again to ask me where is the third Pattie, I told him my daughter throw it in the garbage he states he is not going to refund for the dispose one, rightfully knowing his funny looking self prepared them and scraped them off their black oven and place them in their aluminum foil and into their small pie box. Since Joes was sold a little over a month or so ago its been down hill! We had been loyal patrons for many years. The new owners don’t know what is on the menu. The pizza has gone down hill and if ordering food you basically have to explain it to them. We order 2 fried chicken cutlet salads yesterday one with provolone. The woman who was the owner had no idea what i was talking about. And didn’t know what provolone was. After an hour for 2 salads showed up we got ceaser salad with fried chicken instead.
