When I walked in, I was immediately greeted by a staff member named Shawn with a warm welcome. It was my first time at the restaurant but I love Jamaican food so I immediately went for the oxtail. It came with rice and peas, a couple pieces of sweet plantain (make sure you ask for the plaintain), and cabbage. 10/10 the flavors didn’t disappoint!! I just moved to New Rochelle and find it hard to find good Caribbean cuisine. I’m so happy I discovered this restaurant. I’m definitely adding it to my rotation weekly. I can’t wait to try their other dishes. Everything smells and look delicious. Also, if it’s in stock, ask for their sour sop juice. It tastes like coquito but a lighter version. It’s AMAZING! I applaud the company though for effort not everyone can be a cook and taste where it's a 5 star.
