Juliano's Caterers — Restaurant in City of New Rochelle

A friend of mine just had her wedding here last weekend (October 27 2018). My fiance and I were considering having our wedding here until we experienced Juliano's.

I will start off with the positives:

Parking available in lot Clean, nice decor

Now the negatives:

Events scheduled too close together. The wedding ceremony was to start at 6pm but didn't actually start until a little past 630pm. There was a party that ended at 5 and by the time all the cars were pulled put the lot and guests left, it cut into the time of the wedding. Plus, there was only 2 men in charge of the valet parking. NOT OKAY...totally unacceptable especially on such a special day.

Bad service. I sat in the front with the other bridesmaids but my mum sat towards the back where servers kept going in and out the kitchen which made it uncomfortable for guests. Why would you place a table so close to the door where your workers need to get in and out? My mum also told me her table was neglected, no one came by with appetizers or with a pitcher of water.

Workers on phone. I worked in a restaurant before and I understand there is some down time especially when guests are eating and such. If you're going to be on your phone, at least find a spot to hide and do it where no one is going to see you. A few of the servers were in the station on the phones. This looks bad as it reflects not only on you but on the business as well.

My verdict: I would not recommend having a wedding here and I certainly won't be having mine after my...

One week ago, my husband & I got married at Juliano's. We could NOT be happier. Let me explain...

From the beginning of the planning process, the ENTIRE staff has been amazing. Quickly answering calls & emails. Always being available and unwavering in their kindness. Not 1 second was stressful.

We had a major issue with our florist/decorator & without missing a beat, our bridal attendant, or should I say bridal fairy godmother, NICOLE stepped in and made the room flawless! Every minute of our evening Nicole was there to make sure it was running smoothly & fixed any hiccups in the road. If you're lucky enough to work with Nicole, you are going to have a beautiful event regardless. 2a. We had two guests who cannot eat meat, when Nicole was informed, instead of guessing about cross-contamination, she had these two guests provided with a completely separate and fresh dish.

The entire staff the night of our wedding was filled with courteous, helpful & kind people. They were aware of issues, stayed calm and always made sure we were taken care of.

THE FOOD! The capitalization should explain what I mean. The food was incredible. Every single person complimented it. One even said "your venue packed a punch with that food." Sooo grateful.

I am giving them to start for the simple fact that when it came down to the main course meal it was a total disaster we went to the food ttasting and we got served an amazing meal but when it came down to my wedding day they ended up serving us something totally different,we have picked the chicken Marcel and when they served it to us at the food tasting it was served with a chicken breast and at the wedding they served us leg and thigh and on top of that it was raw, when the chef came to our table I'll let him know the food was raw and all he did was take our plates and when I asked for more food he told me everything was gone. I tried calling Danny which it was the person in charge of my event I spoke to him he was supposed to call me back and he didn't it's been two months since my wedding and I had called him and left him messages and finally today I got a hold of him and he tells me the only thing he could do is prepare me a few plates if I need to pick them up LOL one thing I do gotta give them is the appetizers were good and so was the decorations but I don't think they will ever get my service again my advice to everyone is if you're looking into having an event at this place make sure that I mess up...
