Went to Hua Hua Sunny Nails Spa in New Rochelle, NY 2 weeks ago. 2 days ago I removed my nails polish just to find out a discoloration in my toe nail. Went to the urgent care just to find out I have a fungus infection(Onychomycosis). I called Hua Hua Sunny just to let them know what happened to me and who ever picked up the phone keeps saying she didn’t speak English. I have to go to the dermatologist to get a medicine 💊 because the urgent care it’s not allowed to prescribe. What is the level of responsibility for a business on any country that it is not able to understand when there is a problem due to the language barrier? As customers are we being protected from a situation like this? Is Hua Hua Sunny Spa sterilizing the instrument? And not putting the customers in Danger. Are the employees at this place license to do this kind of work? It was my first time at this place, since I do not leave in new Rochelle. My mother went to this nail salon and got a terrible fungus from not sanitary instruments, when she went back to complain the manager claims she does not speak English on numeral attempts and claims she didn’t do anything. My mom got this fungus in April of 2025 and it is now June and it’s continuing to get worse and worse. DO NOT COME HERE! My friend lives in the area and took me to Hua hua when I needed a manicure update before my Europe trip. Sunny and the team were so sweet to greet us, offered us snacks and water during service, and i even got a shoulder massage during my nail painting. It's a small business owned by kind people, with very clean tools. Price point is also beyond reasonable considering their service and attitude, I visit my friend often and think the best one I've tried in the area overall.
