I have tried many coffee, shops, if not all of them in Newburgh. I am now on the other side of the bridge, in Duchess County. And still will commute back to Newburgh just to come here! The baristas have become like family. I always feel like it’s a safe space to be myself, have a chat, or simply sit in silence and decompress. The best coffees, lattes, specials, and teas around! Their bagel specials are delicious! I’m the type of person that doesn’t often like to try new things, but every time I try something new here, I have yet to be disappointed! My favorites are the Bazzoni, Peanut Butter toast, and their scallion cream cheese! Great atmosphere, Super cute decor! Everything I look for in a Coffee shop. When it comes to the drinks, there has never been a miss! Service is always consistent. In comparison to some chain coffee spots, or other shops where the quality of your products depends on who’s working. Everything I’ve got here, everyone who works here, always provide nothing but the best! We love Baristas...
Read moreVery disappointed with the rebrand. From what I can see is the same staff and today I waited 25 to 30 minutes for a $9 coffee and was not even greeted with as much as a smile by the person working there. I have been a patron of 2Alices for almost a decade. I don’t know I just feel like with the amount of time that you have to wait and the amount of money that the drinks cost a little kindness would really make a difference in the experience. Additionally, you’re paying for the ambience because the drinks are mid. And yes I understand we all have bad days but this was not one bad day or an isolated incident. It’s always the same attitude that you get when you are there and honestly I don’t know why I keep coming back but for sure this will be my last visit at Barista’s on...
Read moreThis was the first of what will surely be many visits to this wonderful coffee shop! I was there for most of the morning, I started with an exceptional latté and a bagel... the coffee was so good that I was encouraged to get a Cubano next. This is a leap of faith for me, as I used to live in Key West and drink these every day from the hands of my Cuban friends. This one stood up to the challenge.
The decor is lovely, the seats are comfortable, and the wifi is fast and free. Both Brian (the owner) and the young woman who served me (did not get her name, sadly) were exceptionally cheerful and pleasant. It was a welcoming environment with great food and service. See...
