The architecture is amazing, but the effort and energy going into this endeavor to revitalize the arts in Newburgh is second to none.

Visit the main banking floor which is now gallery space filled with excellent art, visual evidence of the abundant talent here in the Hudson Valley.

Be sure to venture downstairs into the vault rooms that have been transformed into gallery spaces. Fine art intermixed with massive vault doors and broad arrays of lock boxes that form a mosaic of brass and steel.

Follow the schedule of openings to mingle with art, wine and community, or step in off the street to recluse in a grand space filled with visual delights.

What an incredible art gallery. This museum is free, with a new exhibit every two months, carefully curated and scouted for artists from all over. Set in a former bank, you get to walk into bank vaults to see art made of driftwood, glass, instruments, and things you could never imagine. The highlight of trip to Newburgh.
