I have been going to Luca for the past few years. The unprofessional manner that this restaurant conducted business today was regrettable. They have lost quite a few customers today. A lunch order was placed by phone incorrectly, then corrected along with the price. However when the delivery arrived the price had changed again. I understand there is a delivery fee, which I don't have a problem with. When Lucas was contacted they refused to honor the price quoted over the phone! The delivery person made matters worse by stating the price was not reduced because I called to complain! Are you serious!!!! I called back because the original order was incorrect and logically the price therefore should have also changed . They were offered the price that was quoted which was $19.00. They wanted $26.00! This is just bad business. A restaurant can't reuse this food, right? What would make sense? To take the money that was originally quoted by the restaurant or take it back and throw it out? The driver never called to speak with his boss, which makes me think this is business as usual. I will leave the answer to the next question up to you to answer. Did this food get thrown out or recycled? I have NEVER had a restaurant take a loss on food, and I have worked for too many over the years, they just can't afford to. Without a bar to make up for the loss in wasted, spoiled food it can't survive. Never again will I eat here. This has left too many questions. Their professional manner toward the consumer has been put in doubt. I would also advise you check the price on the menu against the price you are charged. The tax is.0825. Read moreI ordered delivery from these guys twice and both times the food never arrived. The first time I ordered, an hour had passed so I called them. They told me the driver had been in an accident but that the food was still on its way. That's understandable so I was willing to wait but two hours after the call back, I finally gave up and ordered from somewhere else. The second time me and my friend ordered some sandwiches, it was summer so we were sitting on the front porch. After an hour and a half I called back and they tell me that the delivery guy arrived but no one was there, mind you me my friend had been on the front porch the whole time. the guy on the phone told me he would redo the order and send it out, again the food didn't arrive. Sorry but no food no love.

Here's the thing, every negative comment on here has a reply from you saying the same exact thing, some of them dating back over a year. I always tip the driver big when food is being delivered; And even though my brother in law told me to stop eating from here I didn't bc I love this sandwich. Nobody else makes it like they do. BUT over the past several weeks I have been told 3 different prices for delivery fees. At first it was over $10 ok no problem then it was it has to be over $15 now today it's $20.
