Google said I ate here yesterday. It's NOT true. I ate at the flaming grill buffet nearby. I did work at this location for 4 months overnight shift. customers liked me to the HORROR OF MANAGEMENT. Managers treated me and several other melinin employees as scapegoats for their failed customer service and serve time. When I went to speak to a corporate official about it she wanted to show me pictures of a recently employed melinin youth, whom she said was idle. As an employee, mother and individual I had no idea what that had to do with me. Also, EVERYTIME a particular melinin female couldn't be found on shift whom the GENERAL MANAGER stated she knew for a long time the managers often asked me if I had seen her as if it were my responsibility or I knew her personally. I wasn't her superior or keeper. Though I spoke the least Spanish and the kitchen was ran by Spanish speaking people and management who spoke little English or presented themselves as if they didn't know conversational English, when things failed and they often did on the overnight shift between 6/2023-10/3023, I was somehow responsible for MESSING UP THE KITCHEN. When they hired me a couple of other melinin staff were 'let go'. After my termination, I witnessed a massive hire of several Hispanic people who are indeed good people. The general manager from the Broadway location began harassing my fiance and myself on my days off when I went to that location and also after my employment. The best thing after the entire experience is I lost 30 pounds since I stopped eating there. The free food was killing me and I was and am physically active. I found better paying employment almost immediately, Making way more for less hours. I found healthier and heartier alternatives in the community. I am seeing McDonald's (dean Cooley franchise) implement bans on particular customers in retaliation to freedom of speech and liberty in America. The banning practice McDonald's is now doing was imposed upon them first from countries overseas not wanting to do business with this food chain because it did not agree with their values. They can remodel and repackage all they want but I can no longer support McDonald's (dean Cooley) because the management make the youth become hostile to the local community and the management put the lower income local community patrons in police contact instead of hiring security to implement their policies. As a citizen and mom of three adult daughters, one being a veteran it's unfathomable the things management have young adults do..many of Hispanic background or melinin employees of a large size acting as security also... I am concerned for the youths and your loved one living amongst the same people McDonald's have them hostile against. Did you raise them that way? being nasty to elders and the locals in the name of a check? so no I did not eat at this particular McDonald's or any other owned by dean cooley for a few months. I've been enjoying Wendy's, Burger King, local diners, my own cooking, Greek food, Peruvian, Mexican, EL Salvador including the patrons that frequent there without incident..the McDonald's at Broadway, owned by dean Cooley also, allow to sit all day older Caucasian men who are overly sexual and just as 'rowdy' in a franchise targeting children and youth without any bans or rebuke..I personally witnessed and was subject to it but I stood against it and the general manager at that location disliked me more. So be it. I placed on a job review site 'when I expressed interest in going to college under McDonald's tuition free program the management at this casino location became hostile and conspiring' I spoke to a corporate official about it and she was in denial, defensive and ignorant. I'm 40+, assertive, aware, always advocated for myself and my children, refuse to recant anything I experienced or keep quiet when 'victimized' no one else do.I don't eat dean cooley for my own self preservation, spending power and boycott and am better for it. I will eat McDonald's in NYC where FEAR AFTER PROVOCATION...
Read moreThis location really is a bit of a wait inside. I feel the drive through&online orders r priority placed first. Drink machine gone. Gonna miss em. I don't like touching the inside ordering electronic station. I like to order my food at the counter but there was only 1 employee for the front&it seems like not many people order the way I do at this location anymore which is at the counter not using an app or electronic touch screen stand which there are 2 of with credit cards readers so u can add codes. I didnt see staff cleaning anything especially the touch order screens! Eww. I just prefer the old way! It's clean the parking lot. After I was able to order it didn't take long though. Food was good. My order wasn't read out though when ready n was just left at the conter. If I had not been paying attention food would've gone cold. Take out number isn't read which mine was take out. It wasn't marked either. I was not the only person in there ordering either. If you pay with cash your almost not a person nowadays. Some people just don't use plastic! Not happy with this location. The woman who runs the counter now n drive through is wonderful with the cool makeup&lashes. She will help you with anything n taught me how to use the touch screens which I hate. Apparently the locals hate them too bc last time came in both stations smashed on both sides the screens! Feels cold now n prices r too much. It's not worth it. Other places you get more food now. Although the $5 deal isn't bad they need the dollar menu back!! I've stopped going bc I feel the quality of food doesn't match the price. Just not worth it. No more McDonald's for me. Sad when a senior can't even enjoy a coffee and a sandwich!...
Read moreI'm stranded in New York and this McDonald's has been a beacon of hope in my darkest hour. The staff here are amazing and so helpful and understanding despite my appearance. I haven't showered in days, my hair is a mess, I've been wearing the sane clothes for 4 days. They always let me use the restroom and help me with my orders no matter how small. The person who I want to thank the most is Jeimy Rios. She always treats me with the upmost respect and courtesy. I'm trying to get into an addiction treatment center while I sell my house and I'm stuck in limbo right now because I can't enter the program while I'm in the middle of this transaction since it requires my attention and direction. Being able to charge my phone and access to Wifi are integral to my success and without Jeimys help I wouldn't be able to do either. I can cry right now that there are people in this world like her. She needs a serious raise in salary because if you don't keep her, someone else will take advantage of your stupidity and snatch her up from under you. I'm a job recruiter for nearly 25 years and when I see talent of her caliber it's like stiking gold. But in her case, it's a diamond mine. Good luck...
