The foodie in me told me (lol) lets go out for some Peruvian food. I'm glad I decided to give this place a try. I called ahead and was told no reservations were needed, upon arrival it took around 7 to 10 minutes to get a table. Service was excellent, very knowledgeable (I asked a few questions about the meal), fast and friendly. Food was good. Appetizers were on point, I would highly recommend the Pisco sour, fried calamari, I would also recommend the red snapper deep fried, the Lomo with potatoes and tomatoes, green rice and la parrillada, you cannot go wrong with the steaks. I would not recommend the Chaufa rice, not sure if the way they serve this rice its cold but mine was, also the rice was not like fluffy, was a bit dry and that is the reason I give only four stars. I will keep looking for the best food in the Hudson Valley so wait for my next review.

I go out to eat A LOT and this is my 100% all time favorite restaurant!!! We live almost an hour away and I make my husband drive me here almost every week.. the only restaurant where EVERYTHING is good.. food.. drinks.. service. The 2 male servers who work every monday are on top of things, always taking away empty plates and checking on us . I haven’t been able to get to dessert because I fill up too soon on appetizers and dinner haha. If you request an espresso martini they make an amazing one ! The last thing I expected to be 10/10 at a Peruvian restaurant. We’ve tried so many different menu items and not 1 thing has disappointed. My husband always has atleast one thing bad to say about a restaurant but he loves this place as well

This is a really well decorated restaurant which is larger than wpuld appear from the outside. I'm not sure about the acoustics as it was a slow time of day. But the food was fantastic! The quantity for the price was a good surprise (we had some leftovers to bring home) and the quality was on par with how I would expect things to taste in Peru. It brought back a lot of happy memories from my travels there and I couldn't pick which dish I wanted more, there were so many I wanted to try again! I will definitely go back the next time I'm passing through the area.

I have lived in Newburgh my whole life. I have driven up & down Broadway seeing this restaurant neatly tucked in among the other buildings. Never gave it a second thought. On a whim, we were heading to a show at Silk Factory and wanted to eat nearby so we could walk to & from the venue. We opted on Macchu Picchu.

As soon as you enter, the restaurant is not what you would expect… a nice bar tucked to the left, a spacious dining area in the back. Nice and wide open. The service was excellent. Our waiter, David was on point & super helpful telling us about things on the menu. The food was served and we were not disappointed.

The rotisserie chicken, cilantro rice, steaks.. everything Chef’s kiss! We had the tostones, yucca frites & calamari as appetizers. Delicious, served hot & fresh! All the sauces that come to the table are homemade & can be purchased directly from the restaurant. Highly recommend the green sauce.

We are looking forward to going back and introducing more friends of ours that have never tried it there before…

Also, this is important to know… they have a decent wine selection. I am still talking about my whole experience the next day. Please check it out if you have not been.. parking directly in front of the restaurant and well lit for those concerned about dining in the City of...

I was here the other day, I'll admit the food is really good, but recently the owner was kind of a dick with me, mind you, I've been a loyal customer for almost 15 years who spends minimum $200 every time I go there and I usually go at least once every 2 weeks, and the last time I went, he spoke to me in a condescending tone and was acting rude with me, I understand it was busy that night because he had people from a wedding there, and when I asked him about a table, he acted very dismissive with me acting like I was going to eat there for free and told me it would be impossible for me to get a table and the kitchen had too many orders as it is, and they were going to close in 45 min. and said there was a party of 8 waiting for a table ahead of me, I told him it was only 2 of us and whatever he could do I would wait, when I asked him if I should wait at the bar, he gave me an attitude, and said I have to wait in a condescending tone, Luckily, the waiter had better customer service skills than he did, and remembered me being a loyal customer, and told the owner he has a table for me because the party of 8 had left, and offered me a table. The owner needs to learn how to talk to his loyal customers and learn some customer service skills and not talk to Hispanic customers in a...
