She deserves so much love and so much acknowledgment for her business during Covid and even after she has wonderful food that she makes from scratch she has vegetarian vegan and regular meat eater options and she’s always trying new things and taking recommendations from people to make some soups and the soups are delicious by the way, you can get them hot and fresh or you can get them frozen so you can have them for later which I love that option! Anytime me or my fiancé or my mother-in-law are sick I’m going to the soup lady. They always warm our bones And put our body back to normality. When we are sick! Also, it’s just great to stop in there and get a quick dinner instead of going to a fast food place or a fancy restaurant if you don’t feel like cooking! My favorite things to get there are the stuffed banana pepper soup, cream of asparagus soup, of course and my Fiancée loves the chicken noodle soup absolutely! I also love absolutely love the tuna melt sandwich. It’s one of my favorites and it’s also a perfect opportunity to stop in there and have a chat with the soup lady. She’s a sweetheart. She loves the chitchat and she’s filled with kindness and love and she puts that into her cooking. she is one of those family owned small businesses that people need to look into and recognize at how strong and beautiful our community is without businesses like hers. My husband and I love going here for lunch. It's always delicious food. The burgers and sandwiches are always so good. She could have gotten away with naming the place Soup and Sandwich Lady. We have eaten there and taken out. On the inside it's small and cozy. Every inch of that train car is used in some clever and practical way. She has everything set up perfectly to make the most of her space for herself and her customers. While we wait for our food we usually have a wonderful conversation with Barb or her daughter. Between conversation with them we enjoy looking around at all beautiful and fun decorations strategically place all over the train car. For the seating area she has two small round tables and a diner style countertop with about eight comfy stools. We will continue going here and we feel so lucky to live so close to this amazing small town place to eat. It's one of a kind! She also has a Souplady Facebook where she posts her menu everyday. She also posts updates about the business as well. She seems to love her customers and puts Alot of effort into letting them know about any changes...

What a wonderful place! Barb and her daughter, Shala, were so friendly and helpful. Barb makes the soup. Check on Facebook to see what soups are being offered. We had Goulash soup. It was excellent! It could have easily been a meal by itself. The sandwiches were wonderful. I had a tuna melt. Yum! Everyone in our party had loved their meals. Barb's Mom makes homemade pies. We had strawberry shortcake pie and an apple pie. Absolutely loved it! Check for deals on taking home frozen soup. We brought some home for my Mom. Be advised.. The Soup Lady is cash only.
